Price guide?
« on: January 06, 2006, 11:43:51 am »
OK I have noticed one thing that is lacking, and that is a lack of access to a list of prices of common weapons and items in the game. newbs such as myself find it kind of hard to buy and sell weapons and try and make some money. As well as a lack of places for reference to make sure we do not get ripped off.

I would please ask everyone to post common prices of items and weapons that you know of in the game.

All the standard weapons (exept  daggers) can be bought from npcs, which all charge the same price. A fair price for normal daggers will be around 40 or 50 tria.

For special weapons (and items), the best thing you can do is look for Bodacher shop. His prices are around the common market price.

thats exactly what im talking about  the not standard weapons, like the scorched short swords and etc. and It would be great if bodacher posted his prices here. as I know he doesnt have all weapons listed, and it would be nice to try and compile a complete list.

*edit*

Oh and what would also be nice is if with prices, the stats and requirements of those weapons were posted.

Please avoid posting two or more successive posts before others have replied. Just edit your last post to add new information :) Thanks! --Karyuu

This isn\'t really a topic to be discussed on the forum.

Like Hitancrias said, some players already run shops and some of those edit their descriptions with the prices of their goods.
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

Wow, things have definitely gotten more sophisticated.  That\'s a creative use of the character description, and much better than using a pet as a signpost.  :P  I can\'t wait until we get the crafting data on Laanx; there\'s going to be a rather large economy boom.  :D

well it makes a change to the old \"Look at my stats!!!\" that people used to use it for.

Hehe, you should get in game more often, to keep in touch.
The professionalism of the mentioned shop will stun you.

I haven\'t really talked to any of the weapon dealers in a while.  (and I had no idea Bod was running a shop now ;) )  Next time I have some time, I\'ll pop in and go window shopping.  :P

Bodacher has some tricks of the trade indeed. ;)

As to the prizes, those fluctuate as people sell their weapons so don\'t think Bodacher is able to make a real list only a temporary one at best most likely.

All I can say is that prepare for a large sack of trias...:]

IF you sincerely are desperate for a price list...some guilds may be helpful to provide you the price list they\'ve cobbled up...might be outdated but some are brimming with info :D

The thing I don\'t get about bodacher (hydlaa outfitters) is who exactly buys his stuff?  I mean, it\'s WAY to expensive for the newbs... and those who can afford them are killing things that drop these weapons for free!  So who is buying?

I bought a Gold Falchion that I couldn\'t find anywhere else, on my own. Why? Sentimentality ;) I certainly can\'t use the thing, but it brings back memories. Maybe there are other sorts of collectors, maybe people buy gifts for others, maybe they\'re stocking for their own shops. Who knows? It\'s working though :)

Oh yes, gifts ... Bodacher should add to his description \"... and wedding outfitter\".

This is my own personal opinion and does not reflect Bodacher or his fine shop..

Bodacher sells high because he sells good quality stuffs, I sold my 2 Dark Swords to him for 4000 trias each, These swords have 54 slash. I got an excellent deal (I cant get attached to them anyways right? ahem.... wipe)

Try and find the weapons he sells in the world. You\'ll be wasting a lot of your time considering eventually the server is  going to be wiped. I\'m sure Bodacher like other shops will find a better way to utilize his shop and his prices once the game reaches beta and better weapons are more widely available in the world.

After all. When crafting and other skills are implemented Its going to be an excellent chance for other shops to compete for costumers :)

I cant fricken wait!
