[RP] Mitaki's Memory
« on: January 07, 2006, 01:16:59 am »
[Mitaki]

Mitaki was talking in Hydlaa with a few of his friends, and a discussion about a rare sword, capable of cutting even the strongest of metals, came into topic. It is said that it can only be found in the Ojaveda Hills, near the giant stone head. Mitaki came to the conclusion that he would be the first to find the sword, and raced off into the hills. He walked for a long time, and finally found the giant stone head. It suddenly began to move, and the ground began to shake. A body arised from the ground, connected to the head, and it moved like a living person. It began to speak to him.

\"Only one who passes the test of purity, may wield the sword...\"

\"I am Mitaki Naru,\" Mitaki said. \"I am here to attain this legendary sword. My heart is pure, and I have fought for quite a long time against evil. My past has been filled with pain, and sorrow, and only now I have been able to find peace, after a long battle. I believe that I am worthy.\"

\"No...You do not have the purity the sword desires. You must be born pure-hearted, not forced down the path by your tainted life.\" The stone spoke.

Then, the stone raised its arm, and Mitaki began to float in the air from a magical force. His head began to feal an intense pain, as his memories were slowly fading. He let out an agonizing scream, and the stone casted him into the air, his landing destination to be Hydlaa, where he will begin his new life, to be guided by his closest friends, or his worst enemies...

Mitaki found his way to the Tavern, where he met Dylia and Hokinon. Dylia showed him how to make one of his special drinks like he always used to make when he was there before. He practiced, and finally got it the way Dylia remembered, then Meriner came in the Tavern a few minutes later. Dylia told Mitaki of things he was good at, such as fighting, which explained why he was carrying so many swords. Mitaki grasped his head in pain, wishing not to remember certain things.

Meriner told him that he may not have liked to fight, but most people had to, it was a tough world. Later, Jinkeen walked in, and got into a conversation with Meriner about killing Seperot. Mitaki listened, and the words reminded him of his childhood. The situations were different, but the thought of killing someone, blood, screaming, filled his mind. He rushed out of the Tavern in panic, hoping to find some alone time, and wishing to figure out what happened in his past that could cause these horrible images.

Since Dylia is feeling very off today she decides to go training. On her way to see Perc, she runs into Ganinos and Esserfin. She chit chats with them both for a bit then remembers Mitaki\'s state of mind and asks Ganinos and Esserfin if they know Mitaki well. They both tell her they do not know him very well so she asks if they do know anyone who did know him well. Esserfin tells her sorry but no and Ganinos says he can not think of anyone. Dylia is sadened even more now and runs off to train some of the sadness away, thinking to herself that she will find someone to help him.

Mitaki sat for days on top of a hill, thinking of his past. Dylia had showed him how he made a special drink, Hokinon and Meriner helped him to discover his fighting side. Now, he had to figure out what he was fighting for, what he was fighting against, and why. Mitaki stood up, and walked down a long stairway to the main Plaza. He found Jjairr, who wished him a good afternoon. After a long talk, Jjairr told Mitaki that he was known for dueling the citizens of Yliakum, and made many enemies because of it.

Mitaki began to feal pains in his head, as the memories slowly came back to him. He...was attacked as a child, for no reason at all. His family, his friends, his entire village, all died...Mitaki shook off the memories, and continued to walk down the stairway. Along the way, he noticed Bodacher talking to a Klyros asking him to buy a Groffel. Mitaki walked up to Bodacher, and asked him if he had made any trips to his shop in the past. Bodacher replied that he made not many, but quite a few trips in the past, each for either weapons, or drinks.

Mitaki finally understood the images, but in the wrong way...he was to take revenge upon this world. They do not value life, they simply kill from greed. Wealth means more than lives to them, so now they must pay with their own lives for their actions. As the soul survivor of the attack on Aisk Village in the East, Mitaki\'s revenge would come...

Mitaki walked down to the main Plaza, where he would begin to find his true nature. He saw Setill and another Ynnwn fighting, and knew that this was the circle of life.

One is born.
One suffers.
One dies.

Mitaki found Gag nearby, who was talking with a few other citizens. He waved to Mitaki, wondering where he\'s been for so long. Mitaki wondered who Gag was, and simply said he could not remember. Setill, who had finished his fight with the Ynnwn, walked over, and was listening to the conversation. Gag asked Mitaki if he wished to enjoy life, or live in misery.

\"Enjoy...\" Mitaki responded.

\"Then I suggest you find your friends,\" Gag said. \"they will not have forgotten you.\"

Mitaki now knew his true past.

As a child, he was happy, playing with his friends, and enjoying life with every second. Then, an army from a nearby town marched into the village, and killed everyone there, because the citizens refused to pay taxes to the king ruling that land. Mitaki was the soul survivor, and sobbed at the loss of his family and friends. He began to pack what little supplies he could find, and left Aisk Village behind.

He walked, for years, passing by town after town, village after village, and made new friends. None of these places had what he was looking for, they were all different. Mitaki searched, and searched, for a village of fellow Enkidukai, but had found something better...Hydlaa. The different races of people each helped him learn, and develope. He practiced with blades, because even this town was not perfect. He knew he had to protect it, and not have it be destroyed like his old village...

After almost a year of fighting, Mitaki decided it was time to stop. He had made more enemies than he thought he would, people did not agree with his methods of dealing with things. He was rough, but understood what people meant. He decided to just live peacefully, and learn how to live a normal life. He would spend more time at the Tavern, and when he got to drunk, he developed a drink of his own, which was hard to remember since he wasn\'t boozed up the other times he made it.

Now, he is to continue his life. He has been guided by his friends, and now knows who he is. Since Mitaki has completely given up fighting, he decided to just leave the legendary sword with the Giant Stone Head, for another adventurer to wield.

Setill looked at the body \" wanted to crush me eh ? \" and spited to the dead Ynnwn, turned back and walked to Harnquist\'s place. He saw Mitaki and Gag talking together. He wondered if he\'s in trouble due to the recent events. He approched and listened to the conversation with interest.
He thought that Mitaki was like a lost adolescent who wasn\'t sure of wich path to take and of himself.
He knows Mitaki\'s story, he saw children playing fights wich was told by older whom witnessed few events of Mitaki\'s life.
Setill didn\'t sense any threat from Mitaki and then he thought : \" This Menki doesn\'t know he\'s a legend yet, and still complaining on his past. \"
Few minutes after, Mitaki left the place quietly.

The evil is like an iceberg.
The Dark Empire is the little floating part you can see, but below this, there is a huge part...
