Character Wipes

When you wipe all the characters, could you just wipe the exp/levels/stats and items? I want to keep my character, even if he\'s reverted back into a noob.

Id wish. I still remember the last time they did it. Although, because I changed my goals, it worked to my favor, it still was annoying to have to remake it all. The worst part is not knowing if you made it on in time to save youre name. It happened to my buddy, and whats worse is that they stole our guild name too. Luckily we got it back though. The probelm was (and may still be) is that when created bugs and hacks caused the skills to mess up, sometimes giving them mass skills in an area. And if they do it to get rid of inactive shars, then just erasing stats and exp and stuff would be pointless. But hey we can beg cant we?

I hope it\'s just an inventory and stats wipe.  My character started off with 85 agility, 85 strength, and 120 endurance.  (And he\'s an elf.)  Since I made this character, they\'ve changed things around so my character will have to start off somewhat weaker.

Zanzibar, if they rebalanced things, they did it for a reason... ;)

Anyway, I\'d say that it\'s highly likely that it\'s a full wipe, because that\'s a lot easier for the devs. However, they might just decide to be nice...

Wow, you mean the coming wipe was going to get rid of all our characters to?  I thought it was just stats and inventory wipe.  If there is a lot of \"character stealing\", will the GM\'s give back names to people who had them previously?

If there are a significant number of complaints, maybe. We got lucky because the same guy who stole Charims\'s name stole the title of our guild. If the guy split it and had someone else steal it, then we would have been screwed. But, the devs could be nice and do something like the CB migration. If you send a request to them they could reserve youre char\'s name so you can make sure you have it...At least I wish they would.
