rubies in Ojaveda
« on: January 16, 2006, 08:33:42 am »
what\'s with all the rubies decorating Ojaveda? I think they are making the game very laggy. Can they be removed. I crash a lot there now and I never used to. I may be wrong. Is all the rendering causing this? it\'s really annoying!
What\'s the matter, cat got your tongue? ;)

Hm, never heard of rubies spawning in Oja previously, so it\'s likely that they were left by other players. Remember that decorating the map with items is not allowed in public places! Feel free to clean them up.

I agree, though should is a nearly useless word these days.

I only say this due to the positioning of the rubies...I do not think anybody else could have done it without being noticed.

the rubies have been so that they can\'t be removed. I tried to get to them. Yes, it appears that someone who has access to more than us \"normal\" players must be responsible. If it is some kinf of joke. Okay. Ha Ha. you\'ve had your petty little laugh. Now quit messing with others enjoyment of the game.

Write a petition in-game about it, and the next time a GM is available, he or she will clean it up :>

If anyone else feels like decorating like this again, I will hunt them with bricks.

Over 500 as best I could count..it was severely affecting framerates and causing lag.  I picked up over a hundred that I could reach and there were still way too many.

This wasn\'t anything normal and it messed up the whole Ojaveda sector.

I rarely if ever have lag and framerate loss and this was horrible, and even worse for those that were borderline already running the game.

I felt no lag from this at all, and I arrived after an announcement came over the world shout.
I thought it was rather beautiful, to tell the truth. *shrugs*

I remember hearing something like \"It\'s a goodbye present,\" somewhere or other.
