Hello there, i am Rufus, i have been looking into this game for awile now and i have now decided to join up the forums and introduce myself.

My real name is Jesse im 16 and i live in Canada, i have a long history of playing MMORPGs and have decided that i will put my time into playing this one.

I am currently about to start the download and should be into the game within the next few days.

I just though that id come on here to tell everyone that ill be coming soon, Under the name Rufus, and hope that i will have a warm welcome here and hopefully fit in :)

Ooooh gods Rufus you just made me soooo happy.

That\'s a perfect introduction to the people on the forums :) ..unlike some others we\'ve seen here..

Anyway, a warm welcome to Planeshift, never forget that it is tech demo, but I bet you knew that already.

I just attempted to download the Client from a official mirror site but the dowload was over my limit, my internet provider only allows 145 MB worth of downloading a day, and it stopped at 145 forcing me to cancel it at 57%

I am currently attempted the BitTorrent way of getting the client but so far ive had no luck, it wont even start

Though, i am still working at it and plan to get it one way or another ASAP, probably going to bring a Data Cube to a friends and dump it on or have someone send it through email.

you\'re better off with the data cube/cd. the one canadian isp i know well and the other that i use will probably choke on that as an attachement. and neither of them have such an odd limit on them.

as i chase it out. have them install and update it as well. it will have on the load on your connectiion, and hen just copy the ps folder to the [insert device].i don\'t think there are and reg keys that have to go over. mostly becuase my sister-in-law, did that with no trouble.

A friend has offered to download it tonight and give it to me tommorow, i have to give him a Blank CD and 2$ for his troubles.

He isnt to reliable so im still trying desperatly to find other ways to get the game tonight.

So if anyone knows of any for me to get the game, i am open to suggestions

that 145 mb per day limit you\'ve got limits your choices. looks like it is either going to be torrent or somebody else\'s connection.

Hello, Rufus. I, your fellow newbie also pride my self on punctuation, grammer and spelling. Just a thing you might try:

Start the download at 11:30 PM, then maybe you\'ll use up the day\'s limit for the first and second days and still get the whole file.

Note: if it doesn\'t work, please don\'t kill me...  :P

I cant leave it on all night or i would get in trouble by my parents. But i like the idea i almost wanted to try your idea just so if it didnt work id have the chance to seek my revenge :)

This morning the Bus\'s Were cancelled giving me a free day to do what i wanted, unfortunatly what i wanted was to play planeshift, and that involved a 45 minute walk to my friends house, in the country, in the freezing rain, icy roads, and cold, and a 45 minute walk back in the same conditions. Luckily i only fell on my face once, but got soaked, but it was all worth it. I am currently running the Planeshift Updater, and hopefully i can be on soon :)

This updater is really not working for me its been 10 minutes and it hasnt even reached 1%, can someone tell me how big it is, or a proper site in which i can download the entire patching in one download
