Unfortunately, PlaneShift does not have any internal brightness/gamma control. And because I don\'t want to always alter my once calibrated monitor settings, I prefer to use GPU tweakers which allow to change the gamma level of the desktop before loading the game (for nVidia GPUs, e.g. RivaTuner).
Others don\'t care that much and simply call the game with the parameter \"-fullbright\". But that will disable most of the lighting and shadows and won\'t look so nice anymore.
And on top of this, the whole world needs to be relighted because the stored lightmap cache files are in an outdated format. This is especially visible for the hills of the Ojaveda road.
