Hmm, this IS puzzling...

Hi all, I am Vermintide, a.k.a Assirann, I\'m a fairly new player (Playing for a couple days now) .I\'m not your typical \"I\'m completely stuck newbie guy\", I just have a few questions, if you wouldn\'t mind.

Firstly, I am a little puzzled by the fact that my character sometimes just refuses to attack. I have decent weapons etc, I select my enemy, click attack, change stance and all, but I stand there like a moron taking a beating. Am I simply making a fooilish mistake or is something up?

Secondly, I was wondering how to get to that top most walkway in the DR near the library, as I have a suspicion it is quite interesting up there... And yeah, I did find it annoying to escape first time round.

I was so hoping this would be fixed during the last update :/ It is indeed a bug, but there is a way of working around it - I usually attack a critter that is some distance away, click Stop Attack while it\'s coming closer, then begin an attack again when it\'s an arm\'s distance away. It takes a while to figure out what that distance is for it to work, but afterwards the routine becomes pretty standard.

If I\'m thinking of what you\'re thinking (the walkway exists in the library too, right?) then there is a simple staircase you could take, unhidden, in that very location.

Ah cool, I see, it is a bug... aw. Thanks for the quick reply and help. However, you are wrong about the staircase. If you go up to that level, look above you, there is another walkway, which I would like to gain access to. Thanks anyway dude.

This happens most often because you press the attack butten multiple time and/or you are not close enough to begin an attack. If you you find yourself not attacking for a period of time, press Start Attack butten ONCE this usually helps. And its also better if your standin almost right over the target.

I wont give it away, but heres a hint, check the liabary its in there. While Ive never found anything special up there, it can be neat the first time.

Ah, a third story? Only reaching the second is possible as far as I know.

It is possible to only reach the second floor, unless you can some how jump up to the third.
