Is that knight holding his shield by the inner metal, and therefore, has he stuck his hand through solid wood !?
you need to fix the shield.....

The shield has straps, which are going over his forearm. He is not holding it with his hand (Could you imagine the wrist ache???)

I suppose if a midget wanted to poke someone in the shins it might be useful....assuming that it\'s about half a meter long (perhaps a yard?) like I\'m envisioning it.

Hmmmm.... Sorta looks more like some sort of glaive than anything else, though the pole seems short and other small things, though it could be a short glaive-like weapon that would be quite a nice weapon for those who know who to wield it. Naturally, I\'m no expert on weapons :P
