Rt click attack bug
« on: January 22, 2006, 04:59:50 pm »
Ok I searched both forum and bugtracker and didn\'t see this, so I submitted bug.  What happened was

1- Rt click on target rogue
2- Got impatient waiting for buttons to come up (server lag), noticed he was \'selected\' and clicked the \'bloody attack\' button anyway.
3- Attack began as normal, (same as if you left click to select and then click on bloody attack) but the damage stats looked like the normal attack stats, even though the window showed \'bloody attack\' button as active.

If I left click on tgt and then click \'bloody attack\' it works and I get my normal \'bloody\' damage stats.  If I rt click and wait for it, then click the attack button and THEN change to bloody attack I get the bloody damage stats.

Also a possible item bug, which I didn\'t submit.  I looted a pretty \'short sword of blinding strike\' which I couldn\'t equip because \"You don\'t have enough AGI to use that item\".  And my AGI is 95! (looks indignant).  Is there going to be a field that tells you minimum stats to use an item?  Also, when I looked at the item stats for this sword, they were exactly the same as for a normal short sword (speed: 2.00 slash 2.00).  Wah :(. Sells for 980 though. :)

The random weapon generators (Weapons with strange names, usually have special stats) do not always come out fair, attack wise, or equipped wise. Some, like you one you have, are even unusable because the stats required to use them are so high.. so don\'t worry about it. :)
Most of them are unfair to gameplay, so all will be wiped next wipe.

About your attack bug, the whole battling experience is a bit off now, and still being repaired and worked on. Though, this does sound like an independant problem, like a check not being called upon attacking or something.. I\'ll see if I can\'t recreate it. :)

*edit*
Haven\'t been able to recreate it yet, surprisingly on the account of not being able to get the icons to lag before coming up. x.o
