Thanks..it\'s been fun. Getting tired of all the people telling others how to play and deciding what is best for everyone.
I enjoyed knowing most of you. I have just been playing more fast-paced games that are more complete and more people to interact with, things to fight etc. And they don\'t try to decide anything for anyone.
Maybe when some of you decide to live and let live and stop worrying about who else is doing what else then you will be able to keep those that care about the game. Till then you will lose people.
The lag, the bugs, the broken and unincluded features I can deal with. The aristocracracy that pushes others around and constantly stirs up stuff with anyone that does not play the way they want them to I can no longer stomach. They do not bother me but I am seeing it, all over. I am seeing people talk about those that are gone, versions that are long past, and those unwilling to evolve as the game does. They, instead, choose to sit back and criticize everyone and everything and scoff at the input of others because they weren\'t here when the game was crappier than it is now.
Planeshift is designed to evolve as it grows. All demos do. To try to maintain what you were used to is naive. IT will change and if old players cannot adapt with the change then they should move on. To linger and cuss the new players and the new features just makes it miserable for the rest of us that like to see change.
So you have succeeded in driving another player off. Congratulations. Though I am sure there will be many witty responses and retorts to this topic, if they are directed at me, then don\'t bother. I won\'t be around to see them.. I just wanted to say goodbye to those I know and love. You know who you are.

The reason why you\'re leaving is because of idiots. I completely agree with you, people need to let the community do what it wants, and stop trying to force ideas and opinions (and so many rules that aren\'t even official) on everyone who plays. It\'s a free community, a place where people roleplay, live their life in a fantasy world, whatever...not a place where we get told what to do by people who say they don\'t exist in game (due to not being allowed to roleplay on their part), but make a huge impact on how it developes.
The game isn\'t complete, but this is supposed to be a time where you experience what the game will be like in the future, a demo. You\'ve experienced all this game can offer, it\'s only pre-alpha, I can understand why you\'re leaving. But, do what I do and tell those people who boss others around to shove it. I\'ve never gotten along with GMs, since they each have their own ideas on how the community developes, and don\'t listen to what anyone says. I\'ve gotten along better with the Developers. If you know them like I do, then you should ignore the GMs and just do what the DEVELOPERS say. GMs are official, but they\'re going to do whatever they want to you just because of what mood they\'re in.
Sometimes, you should just do whatever you want, I have (even now for speaking my mind, I bet I\'ll get flamed), and you won\'t get in trouble for it, because even though GMs hate my guts, they know I\'m friends with the people whos decisions actually count. I have a few friends on the GM team, who haven\'t turned against me (yet), and the ones who aren\'t my friend, just let it slide.
I know, it probably isn\'t the same situation with you. Maybe you saw someone bullying a player, mocking them, whatever, but one of the main reasons is unofficial rules. Maybe they were roleplaying? Maybe it was just two friends joking around? Yet, the GMs insist that they be \'nice\' to eachother (cough Cerejha cough), just because they pick on the weaker person. They know the two are friends, they know they\'re joking (sometimes they aren\'t, but they never know the difference), yet just because they feel like it, they\'re going to
tell that person, that they can\'t do it anymore.
Alright, I spoke my mind. Like I said, it most likely isn\'t the same situation, but from what you said before:
Maybe when some of you decide to live and let live and stop worrying about who else is doing what else then you will be able to keep those that care about the game. Till then you will lose people.
people need to stop worrying about others, and just let them do what they want. Basic rules would apply, but not the unofficial ones that GMs seem to place without warning, just because the felt like it.
EDIT: Now, I think I know what you\'re talking about. Old players; still the same situation. \'Oldbies\' picking on the \'newbies\' like I mentioned with \'GMs\' picking on \'players.\'
It\'s still at test stage, for those who keep saying they\'ve been here longer. We are only testing, playing around, etc. banning people, forcing people to leave, discouraging people because they\'re just new and don\'t know what to do, it isn\'t needed. Once the game is finished, then do what you want to do, but right now, lay off of the people who may be abusing glitches, or something like that, because it\'s just testing, it isn\'t like people can cheat this early, everything will be wiped again anyway. \'Oldbies\' won\'t be so old once they get their character wiped again, then everyone will be equal, and no one will be called \'newbie\' until the powerlevelers settle in and begin with the punkish attitude. And for the GMs, those are the people who should be banned.
