No fair!

You know the second entrance to the sewers (the staircase)? Well, I got lost in the sewers (just leave it to me  :P ) Got chased by an uber rat (it could attack me but I couldn\'t attack it, then almost got smeared by a rogue (Mean guy!) Then I got to the stairs leading out of the sewers, then fell (through solid ground) in a one-way trip to the DR. I would like to request a GM move my alt from the DR (Dermorian, Laredo Silverspring). I am doing this on the forums because I did a /who and no GMs were online. Thx.

Well..if you\'re in the DR isn\'t it easier to just get out, rather than make a thread requesting for assistance? I mean, the trips longer, but it aint that long.

Don\'t make useless posts out of lazyness. That was a bug with the ground, it happens. If everyone with a bug like that posted, then Karyuu would shoot all those other people..and then work her way up to me :/

It just seems to me that since it wasn\'t my fault my alt died, I shouldn\'t have to get him out.

The better way to get a GM\'s attention is to go on irc and go into #planeshift-gmtalk (As this is already posted on another thread)

Hence the lazy part. Just don\'t make spam threads. Life aint fair, that includes PS. it only takes a minute to get them out.

And now I feel like karyuu, raining on parades throughout the forums. (no offence Karyuu :P)

As much as it may not have been your fault you should know that this game is full of bugs and you may die at times due to these bugs. Like the rest of the Yliakum population I am sure you can find your way out, and hey why not role play it up that you were struck down by the gods or something. :D

Actually, Zorbels, that\'s not far from correct. gods have power to control everything, right? In that sense, the devs and GMs are PlaneShift gods. And I was struck down... way, way down... by one of their mistakes.

stop complaining! Jesus. If your lost, ask someone how to get out. Dont complain about it. This isnt a game, we arent players. This is a project  and we are its testers, so bugs should be expected.

and i doubt any GM would waste their time.

Exactly and what I am saying is suck it up and deal with it. (In a nice funny way of course) :P  I have died many times, but have used those to role play with. I would rather the Dev\'s work on the game then rescue every person who falls into the DR. There may not be any gm\'s around right now ... so you maybe waiting a long time. You are testing the game for bugs remember, well you found one. :)

Hey, you\'re playing a game in early alpha development. Freely. That means of your own free will ;) You should know that bugs are expected, and dealt with. We\'re all working pretty hard to make the game fun and exciting, but it\'s still work, and work-in-progress. Please find your own way out. GMs do not move anyone unless he or she is stuck.

*edit* Dylia reminded me :D Wikipedia IRC article. IRC requires a client, such as Xchat or mIRC or various others. Some a freeware, some aren\'t, but they\'re fairly easy to use. You should connect to the Freenode server, and join the channel #planeshift-gmtalk (is this it?). #planeshift works too :>

As for this... if you use the search button and search \"IRC\" you will find out . (honestly I am not a good person to explain it >.> I am no good with computer stuff XD )

[Edit] And yes something like a chat room but in the #planeshift-rmtalk room it is not used for that just simply to talk with gm\'s. :D

1. /who is modified by whatever follows it.  Thereby, /who game would select from the Game Masters.
2. As for IRC, are you too lazy to Ask Google?

Myeah but all the rest is right. I thought you knew what you were beginning, defender, when you signed up for PS. Most people instantly know what they\'re up to, know that it\'s our task to find out bugs.

Sooo...basically...when you fall through solid ground (which I always find a pleasant sensation :D) and end up in DR...Just get out of there by foot. I guess by now you know your way down there, so if you\'re so burned on getting out DR, just walk ;)
