Screen Resolution
« on: January 25, 2006, 10:13:09 pm »
My computer was messed up about a month ago and now its screen resolution wont go back to its normal 1024*768 with high color. I can change the screen setting to anything I want but the color will be worse the higher I set the screen setting to. I tried to download DirectX and it still says I havnt downloaded it. Also if anybody could tell me how to get a 3D graphics card that would help.. can anyone help me?

Is this a PS-related issue, or just your monitor/computer in general? What exactly happened to mess it up? Have you tried reinstalling graphics/monitor drivers? Worse comes to worse, have you tried reformatting?

As for how you \"get\" a 3D graphics card, you buy one ;)

Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

This sort of thing happens when you get switched to the default drivers that come with Windows.  My guess is that reinstalling your drivers will fix things.
