Seasons End, goodbye Felines Lair
« on: January 26, 2006, 03:13:49 am »
Who would have thought an Enkidukai-only guild could have lasted three years?

Not me, for certain. In that first week, I imagined I was just making temporary moves until I found a \"real\" guild.

We had a hell of a run

Planeshift was my family, my friends, my life when I had nothing else. Nowadays there is far too much living going on day to day for me to spend the time it deserves. My fiancee, the wedding I\'m planning. My career. Somewhere along the way I discovered a real life that was more rewarding. I had hoped to live both, but it\'s just not possible right now.

We have a  goodbye thread. Felines Lair will end pretty soon, and it will end on a high note.

So many faces have come and gone. We\'ve seen so much. And hopefully, we will be well remembered.

I thank you all for your friendship, dramas and prescence in this crazy world we lived in. I had a blast, and I will hang my uniform up and stride out the gates of Hydlaa, head held high.

Travel always in shade,
Ayshe Alchamet

?Don\'t cry because it\'s over. Smile because it happened.?

Fare thee well, Ayshe of the Felines Lair. Congratulations once more on the wedding, and may it be the blissful and amazing and forever-treasured event that it so deserves to be. But you\'ll tell me all about it, with pictures ;)

Good luck to members of the Felines Lair on their continued journeys, their future paths, their deeds and adventures. You have been, and are, quite a group :)

I\'d say something, but Karyuu has already said it more eloquently than I could :P

Farewell Ayshe, congrats on the wedding, good luck with life in general :]

That said, we no longer have close competition for oldest guild in XG...

I\'ll miss ye.  ;(

I don\'t know what to say.  I\'m saddened, but I understand and I\'m happy for you, Ayshe.  I do understand, though.  Kittik will be heartbroken, of course, but that will be loads of fun for me.
Yliakum, a really big crystal. These are the voyages of the Explorers Guild.  Its ongoing mission: to explore strange new maps, to seek out new life and new NPCs.  To boldly glitch where no one has glitched before.

I am saddened greatly by this news, it seems every day an old face leaves planeshift.

I am happy for you though, congradulations on your success in real life;  I will miss Felines Lair and you greatly and am very sorry we never really got to know one another.

That being said, Jose needs to look at Dark Empire, I believe they are the oldest guild around :P

*has no words*

Arnigus, please say something for me....

Arnigus: \"Times change, people change, but the world goes on in its passing off ages. We can but touch it for an instant before we must move on to other deeds, great or small. Our only hope is that for the short time we may lay hand on the lives of others, we may move them towards better paths, happier journeys. This realm has lifted you for a time, and in turn, you have lifted back. A never ending ladder of friendship  has formed on the backs of the good members of this community. I am pleased to say you have been one of the more supportive rungs, always there when a hand would slip. For a time, you even kept the moon from falling from the sky. I will miss your guild, and your fine stories. The Feline\'s Lair will reside always in the hearts and souls of the Sheeples. *chokes up* That is all I have to say.\"

Thank you Arnigus. And thank you Ayshe.

Farewell and I hope that happiness is found :)
It was good to get to know most of the members of your guild and all treated me well and anyone else that crossed their paths. I am only sad to say that Frisky was not around to hear from all of you himself :( . I did however send a message to let him know. I will miss seeing your guild around. Good luck to you Ayshe :D

He did say \"close\" :) The Felines Lair was always a sort of sister guild with the Explorers, and if you were in one guild, you were automatically accepted as friend of the other. Such a close bond will be missed, no doubt.

I am very sad to see you leaving.
But am very happy to see you getting married.

Maybe we will still hear from you from time to time.

As the Felines Lair is no longer among us, i will still
keep them remembering in my toughts.
Greetings,

Tarel Barilele

Farewell Ayshe and great job on keeping the guild going for so long. Also, I wish you good luck with everything in real life, the wedding, the career and the babies to come. :)

:( I\'m so sad that I could not help to avoid that.

The Enkidukai concept of pride and honour seems to be too different from this of Ylians, that I could not understand the reasons of actions around Kandreks kidnapping, Jjairrs behaviour to me and others, and similar details which ruined the renown of such a great guild during the last month. You may have been too long away - Kandreks warnings have been unheard...

I am just in hope for a better future of your members in the new guild \"Warriors of Yliakum\", or others - depending on the preferences of your previous members.

:D Congrat\'s on your wedding, career and such. I wish you the best in your lifes journies and it was a pleasure knowing you for the short time I have. Take care and please do stop by for a visit if you ever have time. Oh and also a cangrat\'s on the guild you have created as well, three years is a long time in PS. It will be a change indeed to not see Enki\'s sport the name and that saddens me because I have gotten used to seeing that guild name since the day I started PS. Alas life moves on as do we all.........

/me bows respectfully and wishes Ayshe well
I've been outside, it's overrated and the graphics suck!

I had fun in the lair, Ayshe, for the small time I was there. You all helped me learn how to RP, and how to enjoy Planeshift. Have a happy life, we\'ll miss you. :)

*sigh*

Another old face, vanishing into the night, before new ones like me ever getting to meet him. Oh, sad. But people and faces, young and old, come and go, and sometimes return. I hope Ayshe does some day return, so that I may meet him.
