problem with updater mirrors

I downloaded the game over my 56k connection(much to my amazement ) without much of a hitch.

But i am having issues with the updater. I started it and it got through about half of the 20 or so files on the list, and attempted to connect to a mirror for a file by the name of \'psclient.exe\'. it failed to connect to every mirror, and gave me a \"mirror lacks a repository, cant use it\" error on a couple. The last mirror it tried was called \'backp\' i believe, then after that failed the updater closed itself.

so i tried the updater again, it started from the psclient.exe file, tried the mirrors again, and did the same thing again except it didnt close this time. heres a screenshot of what i got the 2nd time around:

any help?
and if it matters; i am running winXP

Uhm, it is quite odd that all mirrors generate that problem (what a probability!), but have you tried to run the updater in recovery mode?
Start->programs->Planeshift Crystal Blue->Planeshift Updater (recover mode)

not sure that can solve a mirror problem, but maybe some other misbehaviour.

i ran the recover mode updater, and it is currently downloading the rest of the files. thanks AryHann! although it couls possibly have been my firewall, which i disabled just to give it a shot.

And i did read the \'updater issues\' thread, and saw that my xml file was updated with all the mirrors, i did a forum search before i posted this too .

so i guess ill be seeing you guys in game! thanks again
