« on: February 04, 2006, 01:35:41 am »
Here\'s a silly question. I have lots of gold ore. Now what can I do with it?

Thanks.

You caaaaaaaan...sell it!!!

Or you can do Harnquists quest (if he\'s around the blacksmith somewhere...if he\'s not just go look for him, he\'s probably at Kada-El\'s) because he needs gold ore to fix up some weapons apparently.

And ofcourse you can sell it, though it doesn\'t give you that much. :D

oooh... and you can sell it too ^^

Or just sell it :P

:D

Stick around Harniquist long enough and you\'re going to run into players asking where they can find gold ore every so often.  Just offer to sell it to them in exchange for money they make from hunting rats.

You get 20 trias for completing the gold quest I believe, so if you sell gold for more than 10 trias each you\'re being dishonest.  Just so you know.

Yes, you are right. Levrus has a quest about gold ore, too.
However, if you want to earn money by selling it to other players who need it for a quest, you should stay at Harnquist, because he is visited much more frequently than Levrus. ;)

There are even some players who earn their living (or greater parts of it) by mining  and selling ores. Not the most exciting thing to do, but surely one of the safest.
