No Sound?
« on: February 06, 2006, 09:19:57 pm »
Sorry, but I went to PlaneShift setup, and I turned on the sound, but I can\'t hear anything ingame. Is there something wrong with my computer, or is there some kind of patch to download? Thanks.

I had kind of the same probmle a little bit a go.  Make sure to update the dive frist and see if that helps.

Right cleak on my computer, then go down to properties.  Cleak on Hardware, go to Device Manager cleak sound and make sure all of dose are updatedand this feuter if they have it is under dive.
Why should I speak, if no one speaks?  Why should I approach, if no one approaches?  Why should I hear, if no one hears?

Game sounds seem to be somewhat problematic >.>

I\'m not sure that it is still the case, though it very well could be, that sound can cause client crashes... which is a shame because the music is great :/
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

All I think is that check your sound card/soft ware that you\'re using, check the system specs if u might; and check your sound if it\' mute. If not I go what they say above

The next release uses the spiffy new sound renderer, so hopefully things will stop sucking in that regard.  :D
