I dont know the server ip.. I am am always a dwarf when I join..
Okay, not realllly.. I just figure more people would peek and see what new kind of idiot I am  8o .

I am actually a real live newbie, looking for something to fill the hole in my heart since I put down the EQ and walked away from it like the vicious evil life sucking thing it is..The thing I would play write now, were it installed.

Oh well.  ;(

I am willing to wait for something good, and free..Filling my time with NWN atm..

I love the general attitude on the boards here, I read back a little, learning who not to piss off I think!

If you are just looking for a free game, I suggest you find another one, this one is only in pre-alpha stage, meaning you could be waiting for up to two years.

Jeez, don\'t be such a pessimist, I know what stage the game is at! I read this site before I joined it..and the main reason I did was because I saw a distinct lack of \"733t d00dz 4 phat lewt\" etc, etc ( I never got dude speak down well, sorry if that isnt exactly right)  I have lurked at the RoT boards, and a few others that I think look interesting. I just de-lurked here cause there seems to be less idiots. Maybe its cause there are less people?
Link, you are always soooo grumpy, at least its feels like a grumpy welcome..er not a welcome..well I suppose I shouldnt have announced my hello with a sarcastic post...I am sorry  :(  I will behave myself properly for two or more years and lurk in the corner  ;(

Welcome to the game and glad to have you, Daere.  Don\'t take any crap from Link.  :-)  He\'s grumpy but mostly he\'s right, so once you are used to him it\'ll be ok.

Regarding the two year time horizon, I don\'t think we are that far from having something fun to play, although we may well be that far from a \"feature complete\" game.  Just having combat and spells and progression, for example, could be a fine game without trade skills, group combat tactics and HAL-level AI.  That is the beauty of Open Source development... it never has to stop.  We all want something playable asap though, so we will be focusing on that after MB is done.
