Old-updater problem
« on: February 19, 2006, 03:28:11 am »
I searched the forums, but I haven\'t seen anyone mention this:

I ran the  unofficial updater for 10.3, but at 72% it stops, the transfer speed goes to 0.0kpbs and it says i have -24345654335 (that number is not correct, but it is a long number beginning with a 2) seconds remaining.

I realizd my system wasn\'t fully updated, so I did that, and I also made it download from mirror 2, but still the same thing is happening.

I am on a G4 powerbook with OS X (Tiger perhaps? I don\'t know the specifics, but I bought it over the summer and it is fully updated, so I assume it is the most current)

does anyone have any suggestions?

the 10.4 updater does not work at all for me.

Try again. ;) It might just be a fluke. Post the log from the updater application here if it doesn\'t work.

it still doesn\'t work.   I\'ve tried a bunch of times.. Here\'s what the updater says:

Unofficial Planeshift Updater.

Using mirror 2.
Downloading zipped repository
Unzipping repository
Copying repository

Compiling list of files to update (this may take a few minutes)...Done

and then it does what i said in the first post.

I am very perplexed

Run it again and use mirror 3. Check \"List Files\" (or whatever I called the list option :P ). Then post the log up here again if it doesn\'t work.
