Does this mean that the next version of Planeshift, 0.4 Steel Blue, is going to be released?

No, then it would be a new version. A new client is just an update for character controls, like walking. I think they\'ll make it so characters can run again, not just walk fast, not sure.

A new release isn\'t a new version, as Houlen mentioned :) But it won\'t include just bug fixes - there will be a lot of content, too. Steel Blue is still quite a distance away, but we\'re one step closer :D

As for the server hardware - it seems that the CPU fan died, and that might take a few days to fix. So I hope everyone finds enough patience, because afterwards we\'ll have a lot more to play with.

Version 0.3.013 will be officially released whenever the server gets back up.  It\'s physically down right now, due to hardware issues.  (has nothing to do with the pending release; just a coincidence)  We just have to wait until Fragnetics fixes the box.

There\'s much, much, more in this release than just control fixes.  We\'ve fixed an insane amount of bugs, and added some nice new features.  You can click the link in my signature and browse through the history if you like.  We\'ll post the simplified changelog sometime soon.

Wait a minute, so if 0.3.13 is being released... New updates and cooler stuff... Yay! I can probably wait... And those links... They\'re VERY interesting, to see whatPS useed to be like... :D I enjoyed viewing \'em. :)

will you need to re-download the client of the site, or can you just use the updater? I really dont feel like waiting another 30 min to download it again...

This update will be a pretty big download, so I guess it you\'ll have to spend 30 min to get it anyway. ;) And yes, you\'ll be able to get everything through the updater if you\'re running windows.

when they switched from moleacular blue to crystal blue I had to redownloa the client, they re-did the updater.. I think we\'ll have to redownload it when they switch to steel blue
