Well, the big yellow mouse pointer stops working, although you can actually click on things by deactivating the planeshift window (if you\'re not running fullscreen), and then you get the ordinary mac mouse cursor, which you can position above a planeshift button and click once or twice to bring the window forward and click the button.  It\'s really, really annoying, but it seems to come and go between restarts of the game.

That\'s probably same thing that happened in 0.3.012. It happened to me many times when I used preloaded maps.

I suspect it has something to do with CS event handling for Mac OS X, but I\'m not sure.  I don\'t *think* preloaded maps vs. non-preloaded maps would have a big effect, but that would be interesting if true.

 I Have been having that problem, I thought t was my batteries in mouse thought i had a bad batch smiles.

i cant wait until the devs finish up the mac version, its gunna be so awesome and the NPC wont be so hard to talk to now. so now all i do is wait, not beg, for the devs to finish

Interesting, i\'ve never had this problem and i\'ve been playing for about a month. I have some old 7-button PC mouse that i use with my Mac and it works fine. I don\'t think it ever had a brand or anything printed on it.

Well that must mean then that the bug is still present but not experienced by me.

Oh well

i guess dfryer will be on top of it in not too long.
The only problems i ever had were complete Client crashes where the whole app just died...

There was the well-known editing shirtcut and client crash, the others were just random, i couldn\'t figure them out.

The shortcut editing crash was cross-platform, and should be fixed in this release.

When we are talking about problems in .12 version:

1) yellow mouse pointer stops working/froze problem - mouse stops working and whole game freeze, my character is still running but I cant do anything about it, keyboard do nothing and mouse pointer is frozen. It usually happens when Im running and targeting enemy - PS doesnt like combination of many keys (arrows, shift for run and mouse button). If this happens in full screen mode you have to force quit, if it happens in windowed mode you just have to switch to finder and back. Very annoying altrough I have learned to stop running everytime Im targeting anything, still it happens sometimes when I forget to release run key.

2) yellow mouse pointer twitch in edge of the PS screen - in fullscreen mode when I click in the up twitching zone (near up end of screen), game froze (same as in point 1) but pointer dissapear) and force quit necessary.

3) problems with greeting or trading or doing other things all the time - this happens to me sometimes, my character starts trading or greeting all the time, PS restart needed.


Will this be fixed in new release? And as someone other asked - will new version be for download as whole or just using update?

Im looking forward update, I hope I will be able to turn -fullbright off etc. Finally we will see rain and maybe even snow? ;)

The bug with the game freezing can be avoided. Here\'s how:

Thats what is written there:
If the game freezes all of a sudden(and there is no \"server has restarted\" window)then press the force quit shortcut on the keyboard.(Use apple button+alt+esc) Then your cursor will be usable again,and then you click on the planeshift window. Then you can move the in-game cursor, and you\'ll be free to roam Yiaklum once again!

Its not working in full screen mode, simply if you do it game is force quit (at least for me, but I suppose its the same for all).

And I want to play in full screen.....

Allright,

so far I have not had any major bugs except two whitch I have mentioned beforehand of the game freezing and quitting unexpectedly when I turn around a sharp corner in the arena.
The second bug being, that when I leave the computer for a while and the display goes to sleep and I wake it, that the game crashes. In one extreme case I had to reboot because the display wouldn\'t wake up.
Otherwise nothing else besides the known issues. Allthough some bugs like the music bug haven\'t affected me.
Will the bug in the arena be fixed in the new version ? That is the only really annoying one because I cannot go to the arena at all.
