Final version?

Is Planeshift ever going to be on final/Gold version?
Are the character\'s stats going to be erased regularly or only unti the final version release?

Not really; we\'ll always be in development.

They\'ll be wipes throughout the earlier stages (ie, now), but eventually we\'ll probably stop needing them much.  (no, I don\'t know when that\'ll be)

Well it will always be updated, so do all online games, it\'s not unique to us.

explenation for newbies: soon(TM) is something you\'ll see a lot in PS. I think the best way to translate it to plain english would be:

soon(TM) (adverb):
\"in the vaguely forseable future for the devs; users will most probably have forgotten about it by then and be ultra-surprised by the sudden appearance of it\"

I think this is a term that should be put into a FAQ or even a PlaneShift dictionary :]

*khrm* but fun aside ...the things are looking better and better with every update, and the updates are coming faster and faster... kudos to the devs!
