Are my quotation marks invisible? Dear me :/

*edit* I think it took a while for me to formulate what I was really trying to say. That thread was turning into spam. There :\\

Ok...

So there\'s the spam that Hydlaa was created for....

There\'s \"bad spam\"....

So what qualifies as good spam?  Is it vegetarian?  Kosher?  Texturized vegetable protein spam?

The board was created for topics other then Planeshift, but not outright spam.  I know this because it was in discussion for a while before the board was actually made, with people of the board taking part in it.  Look it up, it\'s an interesting discussion if it\'s still here or it might have been in IRC, I don\'t really remember.  Quit making it more difficult then it really is.  So spam isn\'t the greatest term for what goes here, but you\'re intelligent enough to understand what goes here and what doesn\'t.

Bad spam is also replying to yourself on another account. Leaving that for now, but this is another warning. I\'m being serious now, no matter how fun goofing around with you is.

Take a look at unlocked threads with a good number of replies. There\'s your \"good spam.\"

Replying to myself with another account to make a point, crack a joke, or even to add one most post to my utterly meaningless post count - a motive you\'ve accused me of - hurts no one.  Since I did it quickly, it\'s not even as if people had to waste time by reading it a second time.  Really, people don\'t have to read it at all.

So Hydlaa wasn\'t created to reduce spam, unless spam is defined as off topic posts that still have substance to them.  Is that the definition of spam that you were working with when you said that Hydlaa Plaza was created to reduce spam?  Are there any synonyms of spam that we could use to reduce the tediousness of reading these posts?

My \"accusations\" never pointed at you - not in my PM, and not in this thread. Thanks for reading carefully.

Hydlaa Plaza is for off-topic threads. Off-topic meaning not related to the PlaneShift world, game, client, events, etc.

Threads in Hydlaa Plaza still must have substance.

Sometimes things become so logical that they evade detailed explanations. This is one of those things.

We\'re going in circles now, so I\'m going to stop unless something catches my attention further.

Well, sometimes a crazyness domain would be hmmm productive.

... I hope I can say this without hurting someone: (O.o)

Anyways, About forum games... I am not sure, but why is there so much fuss about posts gained through forum games? It\'s not like the post count matters at all.

The Spam issue, hmm.

Moderators will delete obvious spam, overly hateful flames, and cussing

Thus said, moderators (be it Karyuu or someone else) have the right to moderate in here, and it is due to their judgement what \"obvious spam, overly hateful flames, and cussing\" is. Not ours. This is what keeps endless discussions wether or not something was just away. The Moderation is there to judge, not we.

Well that\'s only my few trias about it.

As far as I can see: no it is not created for spam. ((crap can anyone tell me how to reply to a question of that type without repeating the content?))

making a thread whenever you see a new player/GM is pretty much pointless.
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place
