[A] I can only talk about M$-OSs because never tried others, but the best ever was DOS 6.2. These times we were able to really "control" the machine and not beeing controlled by the system.

One editional rule I'd like to make in effective after this post is well, posted.

You get one reply per page of thread.  This to prevent anyone from just going back and forth and back and forth and it opens it up to give a wider audience a chance to jump in.  Anyone posting more than one time per thread page, all posts after the first one they made, will be removed.
