I love the shading of the hilt, especially the grip. But that\'s an odd design, once the blade starts. Can\'t really tell whether that\'s made to be a fuller or a langet - referring to the part on top of the blade right after the crossguard. It\'s a bit awkward - some elements of the sword look elegant, and the others blunt - and while some incongruity can be quite awesome, it has to be done carefully.

Don\'t use lined paper! The liiiiines. I used to love drawing on that stuff because it established perfect guidelines, but you can achieve the same effects on a blank sheet of paper with very light lines made using rulers. The end result looks much better :)

Always remember to keep your paper clean - avoid smudges, erase them whenever you can (kneaded erasers are your personal angels), and if you\'re aiming for quality, treat your paper with respect - so no wrinkles ;)

Yes I realize it\'s a sketch :3
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

it was in my school bag for a couple of days

P.s. why would we consider what we have now to be boardswords when they are obviously sabres
boardswords tend to have a blade on both sides

Very nice. Me likes it. Though one little thing seems a bit wrong... The handle is WAY too short I am thinking. For how thick it is, and for the size of the blade, I\'m thinking it should be about twice as long, maybe a little less, maybe half of the current one added on. Just looks hard to hold to me :P

BTW, I too have inquired as to why the broadswords look like sabres...

Rulers and lined paper work quite well together too :) Good lightsource! Though the shading on the blade makes it appear to have a stone texture instead of metal. Erase in a few highlights.
