How do I get out of the death realm?

I died... and now I\'m in the death realm. I\'ve wandered around the pathways. I\'ve found a few things that could be doors... but I don\'t know how to open them.  I\'ve foudn a room with a bunch of books, and a big blue crystal thing.

 Sorry if this is a frequent question.

Don\'t you ever call the Dark Crystal a \"big blue crystal thing\"! The Dark Crystal is the ultimate source of the power and it also keeps the portal out of the Death Realm opened. Next time you do that, I will eat your soul and your won\'t be ever able to leave the Death Realm.

Do what was said by Zanzibar, wait for other dead souls and then ask them or simply follow where they are going.  And look around in the Death Realm, it is one of the most wonderful places you will find in the game

 I looked in the faq and it just told me to ask around... why isn\'t the actual answer written out somewhere? I\'ve walked everywhere... and found nothing.

Writing it out would be a sort of spoiler. People are meant to discover things on their own - and part of finding the exit is exploring and stumbling onto all the wonderful scenery, as you did. We can\'t help you on the forums, again, sorry :/

 I think it\'s kinda wierd if you have noobie forusm where you can\'t help the noobies. That\'s like giving someone a car and telling them not to drive it.

No, any spoiler on the forum gets edited or deleted :P And mods know better than to post them. It\'s a request directly from Talad, the head of the project. We can help new players, but to an extent. There is no rush anywhere - you\'re not paying for anything, you have all the time in the world to slow down, take a breath, and try to do things on your own.

8. How do I open doors?
You can\'t currently open any doors that aren\'t already open.

There are some books(helves) you can right-click on to examine, and read. These are usually in Jayose\'s library, however.

All I can do is cross the bridge. After that, I keep falling and dying after going straight. Is there a path somewhere that I missed?

I\'ve been able to get up to those libraries mentioned above but not farther. I see more pathway above my head but cannot find any way to get up there. Yes I\'m stuck.

And all other players I saw while trying also had no clue. So much for the \"follow the others\" suggestion. *sigh*

And currently I can\'t try out anything else because for my local time zone the server is down since at least twelve hours (I missed the short uptime due to needing some sleep).
