Can't register!

Sorry, maybe this has been discussed already but I`m kinda desperate. I downloaded the client 0.3.012 from a friend. The updater does not work. None of the links in the Download section work. So I can`t update my Planeshift client. More than this, I cannot connect to laanx.fragnetic.com/register/ in order to create an account. Any help ??

Hiya,

We\'ve released client version 0.3.013 just a day ago, so yours is a bit out-of-date. You could try downloading the entire new package using BitTorrent right now, or wait for the mirrors to become available. What happens when you try to run the updater? \"Does not work\" is a bit ambiguous, and the more detail you give, the better.

The registration page works for me right now - check if this loads for you.

I mean the updater just does not connect. It`s 0% all the way. The link you gave does not work...I dunno why...but anything that comes from laanx.fragnetics.com does not work...I can`t load the page...At first I thought it might be just an Opera error, but I tried Internet Explorer as well and still, no success. As for the link to downloading the torrent file...well...that doesn`t work either...I`m just damn confused... :(

Well, the link does work, at least for me. Perhaps it is something wrong with you ISP? I suggest you wait a while and then try again. Sometimes ISPs screw up their name servers and it takes time to get them updated again.

Uhhh I don`t use any Antivirus/Firewall software. The only Firewall running is the one that comes with WinXP + SP2. As for routers I`m not certain. I`m in a Wide Area Network and I think they use routers...but untill now I did not experience any problems of this sort. :/

Yeah... I think so... I asked 2 of my local friends which are in the same network as I am (U-Nite Networks) to see if http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/newaccount.php loads. They both said no. After that, I asked another friend who`s in a different network to try it out. He was succesful in creating an account. Something`s just not right in here. :-S

Okay I managed to get one of my friends to create an account for me. Now can anyone send me the patch 0.3.013 by Yahoo! Messenger ID: darky_173 . I got the torrent file but I cannot download it with BitCommet, nor with BitTorrent. I will be in your debt.

XD It\'s not really a patch, it\'s an entire new client. And it\'s ~276MB in size. That\'s not something you could just give someone over a messenger application. If the torrents aren\'t working for you due to network issues, you will have to wait for the mirrors to become available.

A ton of files have been updated, and there is no one list of them - so someone wouldn\'t be able to separate all the new files, zip them up, and send them over as well - and they too would be way too large to do so. Looks like your best bet is to wait, unless we can try to help you with the torrent.

What happens when you try to use it?

Uhhh...it can`t connect to the tracker.

Okay, I finnaly got it working and I`m soooo happy yay!!! I had one of my friends downloading it with BitTorrent then send it to me through skype. Now...there`s still a problem...when I enter the game, after I type my e-mail and password it says Fragnetics Failed and then The server isn\'t available. ... where is the problem coming from? I mean am I the only one who gets this message or is the server down ? :|

You can check whether the server is down here. If the report time and current time differ by a few minutes (or even hours), the server is unavailable.

Ahhh! The link doesn`t work! Damn...
Hmm is it possible that the game does not work because my computer can`t connect to laanx.fragnetics.com ? The game server is on the same adress right ?

I went to http://laanx.fragnetics.com/ and it gives me this:

Forbidden

You don\'t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The above was for Firefox; when I use IE it just loads nothing and it doesn\'t stop unless I cancel it.

Other than that, I downloaded and updated the game... all I need now is to register an account.

Edit: nvm, server\'s down... all I can do now is wait.
