How to climb, and pick up glyphs?

Heya,

see subject - how can I climb anything? I\'ve seen it done in the Enki start city but cannot for the life of me find out how to do it myself... and how can I pick up some darn glyph I found? All I can do is examine it, and it continues to sit there, practically begging me to pick it up but I can\'t!

Climbing is not yet implemented.  If you\'re talking about the meteor or reflection glyph, they\'re not pickupable.

Not all items can be picked up - some are there just to be shown (protected by the gods? ;) ). What do you mean by climbing? There isn\'t any actual climbing skill or animation implemented yet, so if you are meant to reach something (or not meant but it\'s possible), you can just walk up it or jump.

Well, I haven\'t been to the Enki city again since yesterday evening, but when I was there for the last time I saw several PCs climbing up those trees growing at the inn building (when you enter the city, the building you\'re directly looking at). They somehow got up by climbing those trees, which makes me wonder...

Yeah, there\'s a bug that can be used to jump really high.

DaveG, with all due respect, you don\'t have to use the launch-glitch to get ontop of those - They\'re all within normal jumping distance, or at least, the one\'s he\'s talking about. I use them all the time to get ontop of the tavern..

But yeah, climbing is really simple. Just jump on things. Sometimes it requires a bit of effort.. but most places can be reached with a bit of dedication. :D

Current object of my affection would be trying to get into the tavern without using the front door..
