In our school we used to have a chemistry teacher with ADD.

the first time i had him he dipped his hand in metho and lit it infront of the whole class. Then he recalled the time he forgot to exstinguish it, and he looked for something wet to dunk his hand in and accidentally dumped his burning arm into the large beaker of metho he was using -> lots of fire.

Another time he filled a garbage bin with water (or hydrochloric acid? can\'t remember) and dropped several large chunks of sodium in and clamped the lid down. firey bang and lid go up.

Then recently he did the greek fire thing with melted parrafin wax. you boil it over a bunsen burn and when you tip it out of the boiling tube it spontaneously combusts so you get a really cool looking column of fire.

i go to an all boys school, so yes i\'ve seen a few interesting things... some of which is ordinary
how much of a rugby team can you pile into a mini?
how does the school react to chickens being released in the corridor?
What do the teachers do when half the school is locked in the tennis court and bombarded with water bombs.
year 12\'s (year before uni) dressed in dresses... X|
people on roof
the list goes on...

As far as my highschool goes...

I had a chemistry who kept having accidents with chlorine leads... we\'d have to evacuate the school each time.  A firetruck and helicopter would come.

One time before I was there, the graduating class filled the front hall with jello as a practical joke.

The KKK came to our school to recruit.  They were chased out of town by girls armed with baseball bats.

The school spent $10,000 CND on a video survellience system to help cut down on pot smoking and vandalism.  People knew where the cameras were though, so they did absolutely nothing to stop either.

Because of the Harris government, most of my classes didn\'t have textbooks.

The school payed for an indoor swimming pool, then the town took it away from us so we had to pay to use it.

I\'ll probably think of more things later... university so far has been pretty boring.  The only story I have is a gang fight which started infront of me which involved over 30 people.  An asian gang versus a middle eastern gang, gotta love this city.

once this squirrel got stuck on the gym roof, but not on the roof on the wall under the roof where it over hangs abit... he was clinging on there all day peoiple put crash mats down and everything. we skipped lessons to sit in theplaygroud to watch him.

in the end he fell at about 4pmish landed on a mat and ran off.

a second thing this is kind of a prolific event for our school/year. the year we joined the school the new sports hall was complete and in the side like real high up there is some air vent thing. as year sevens we used to spend our lunch times throwing tennis balls up at the vent and this kid called kier got the ball lodged in the vent.. its still there 6 years later.

also one year a group of big kids found it interesting to start fires around the scool field the would make one at one end and wait for the teachers to get to it and then start another at the opposite end.

we used to have this welsh teacher who was really annoying some kids spray painted \"Mr. \'guy\' f***s sheep!\" into the cricket strip in massive letters.

then there is the usual drugs dealings fights and what not.

im pleased by stupid things

the latest addition to the intersting list is the \"asian invasion\" ... we started up the \"malaysian persuation\" to combat their efforts.
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

We have a bit of random screaming at our school but it\'s a very rare phenomena.

Our teachers must be the most coffee consuming in the whole world. The 5 minute breaks we have between each class turn into 15 minute breaks because they need to stand in line in front of the coffee machine to get their 10th cup of the break

All in all my school is pretty boring if it wasn\'t for the fact that we are required to have our own laptops with in classes :D there\'s always at least one CS 1.5 server going ;)

Many years ago one of our science teachers used to hold cockfights in the courtyard every year.  They raised the chickens from the egg and whenever one died a student, my history teacher was one of them, would have to bury the dead chicken.  When it was too cold outside my history teacher would bury the chickens in the \"catacombs\" under the school.  We therefore have dead chickens buried under our school.

pretty much. but im not going to start with my views because some people may not like them. the thing  that annoys me the most is their music that they insist on playing with the speakers on the in the study room, if the head of year were to say anything about it people would call it racist, though if one of us did it we get banned from the study room for the rest of term.

lmao \'asian invasion\' i thought i came up with that one.

speaking of that do youse ever get the ethnic teachers that barely speak proper english ?

we used to get them thrown in...lets seee

we had an arabic teacher from..middle east somewhere everyone called him rahimi and no one listend to him.

a brazilion teacher that we couldent understand.

an egyptian teacher and we had no idea what he was on about, couldent understand his language either.

a canadian teacher that no one liked, he was just a plain arse, lmao people put glue on his chair and thumb tacs.

and an african who spoke the weirdest english i have ever heard, he had some tribal markings on his head, and most of us are like how the hell is he a teacher, he isnt THAT smart.

2 german teachers, they both left quik cause they never loved my mates lmao (thats a diff story on its own)

yea all the ethnic teachers copped alot of misbehaviour from students lol, and where not capable of being teachers at all.

Edited for language.

That\'s still better than the substitute I had in math when my normal teacher went on maternity leave...  He was incompetent, his head bobbled when he moved and he stared at my friend a little to much...  I offered to duct tape him to a wall for her but she said no...

At my school, the most interesting thing about it is the fact that there is nothing interesting abou Forest Grove High.

Hahah, oh crap :D I just read that universities ( / colleges?) don\'t count. Scratch that camel incident.

Um.

Well damn. There are a ton of little episodes that made highschool overall a fun experience, but nothing really big... Someone ran a STFU club thing :D Student-Teacher-Film-Union. I don\'t know too many details but the name rocked.

Then the school was right by the beach, so every day you\'d see someone with a surfboard. And then they\'d be blond, and seriously talk in that stereotypical Californian surfer drawl, and you couldn\'t help but grin.

Good times, good times.

Okay, there was that one time one of the seniors dressed up as a Ghostbuster. And no, Halloween was two months prior to the incident.
