Pretty good, but it loks like he\'s floating. Try to draw the feet before you draw the legs. I often start from the edges and work towards the middle. Maybe that works for you too!

this is the very first PS character i did.
there isn\'t as much shading but it isn\'t floating! ;-)

i usually start drawing from the legs or the waist, but i\'ll try from the edges next time!

Ok, now try to draw the chest. Curves are often lifting out the picture and try to make the pictures more alive by adding sharper lines which exstinguish the form :)

It\'s good but you still need bit more ground under your feet, but he\'s standing on his heels, it seems. But who am i to judge, he might be an enkidukai! :) Though if it is an Enki you should try some slender forms.

Very nice drawings^^,  and personally I wouldnt start from the feet I\"d more start from the head and spine, but even without detailed composition guidelines drawn your getting farily well proportioned figures.
IfI were in your shoes I\"d see if I can get in on some life drawing classes or possibly some figure basics books because you seem to have a good design/proportioning sense so all you realy need presently is some practice ^^ and possibly a few naked poeple (life drawing...     not that naked people are bad for other reasons besides, but in this context for looking at... just dont do it form the bushes with a telephoto lens, the police have funny ideas about that... trust me)

Gods of spelling, I stand AGAINST YOU!

the armor is nice so are the heads but if you make the legs
straight the character will look more powerfull ( not always all straight)

if you have photoshop or something like that it will ease the way of looking at the scan if you add some contrast.

don\'t stop drawing dont waste your talent ! succes!

o.k....

i drew this dwarf a couple of days ago and have just loaded it 2 my pc. i used image forge 2 darken it, crop it,etc. still  not brilliant, but hey....

this one also has straight (short) legs ;-)

thx 4 the feedback everyone - keep posting more

[edit] the reason the images are destorted is that they are actually smaller in real life, but the cammera enlarges it. i will try to sort this out as quickly as possible.[/edit]

Suggestion - avoid shading entirely right now, and just concentrate on working with anatomy and form :) You really have to get your basic shapes right before adding value to them, or else things become hard to figure out. For example, the fingers wrapped around the handle of the hammer aren\'t noticeable - the effect is very flat. It\'s also very difficult to figure out the mouth from the beard. So try to work on some clean smooth line art first, and once you feel confident that you have a grasp on anatomy, start working with a light source and add shading.

Yep, things make more sense without shading right now :) Next step - try to use cleaner lines. First sketch the basic forms very lightly using whatever strokes you want, but then clean them up - or go over your lines with a smoother stroke, so the lines don\'t appear discontinued all the time.

Exactly :D You can see the shapes better and can immediately tell what it is you drew. This is already a big improvement from the first images you posted :)

The next step (yeh, always steps ;D) would be to study muscles and bones, and the way they stretch and bend. It\'s useful to draw stick figures in the beginning, actually - just to make sure that things are bending the right way, and are the right length. Like this. There are a ton of good tutorials online, come to think of it :) Just googling with those keywords is bound to bring up many.

Nice pace of improvement overall :)
