quest bugs?

I suppose the \"investigate carpet\" quest is not finished? Anyway,, there are 2 other quests that I had issues with. Seem to have conflicts.

1. The Mug Quest had trouble to be completed if you take up the Warehouse clearance before having the mugs. (It said the stuff is not neededd, after you hand them over.)

2. The same phrase that enabled one character to buy falka had become ineffective with another character (different personality, of course). The quest was the last in the list of uncompleted quests. Could this be a problem? Oh, this character also had an unsolved quest from the NPC in question. I have not tried discarding the outstanding quest and repeat the falka line.

Therefore, I wonder if there\'s a conflict when you approach with the same NPC with different quests...

Just curious...
1) If you discard a quest, can you try it out again some other time?
2) If you complete a quest, can you be given the same quest again?

You should be able to redo a discarded quest, and many completed quests.  The lockout until you can get it again varies from quest to quest.

Ah. I see. Discarding the outstanding quest made it ok for the other quest. So there is a conflict after all. Will revisit the NPCs again for future redo of the quests. Thanks!

I didn\'t know where to put that so i put it here:
i couldn\'t finish a quest  if i had other quest uncompleted in quest book.
I had to discard all others to complete one.

All others? If they were from or involved the same NPC, then discarding them would be necessary. However, if the quests were totally unrelated, that may be weird. Do you remember what were the quests?

I will not give you a spoiler for the Quests.

Brintec\'s carpet quest and Brado\'s order quest are working both and can be completed.
They are not broken.

You only need to talk more with the NPC to solve some quests.
The quests are no longer quests, where you can give items to complete a quest.
You have to find the correct question to get some things done.

OK, as this thread is about quest bugs i\'ll post it here then:

When i attempt to write a description for the \"Remant\'s Sword\" [which i\'ve completed] something goes wrong and i CTD [Crash To Desktop]. Is there soemthing wrong with my version or is it a common bug?

Doh! I heard nobody complain about that bug and I couldn\'t reproduce the crash myself so I closed it in the bugtracker a couple of days ago. Apparently the bug is back. Can you reproduce the crash by doing the same thing again or was it a random crash maybe?

I did it 2 times. I also tried writing in \"Thorian\'s Shield\" and train my mining with Harn but yet the same, and windows pops up saying something is definately wrong with that game.

So we\'ll see. it might go away, might come back again to haunt me once i log in. Oh Laanx, do not fail me when completing the \"Thorian\'s Shield\" quest!

Hey everyone.

 I aquired the \"Fur Research Quest\" on the 27 of Feb.  I discarded it about a week later.  Since then I have not been able to reget the quest.  I have reaccomplished the prerequisite quest about 10 times since then, I have tried asking him for it at different times of the day, and I tried discarding all my other quests.  Nothing is working.  I have talked to others and some of them are having the same problem.  I know the quest can still be gotten by some of the other players.  

I saw a screenshot the other day where someone had the quest lockout time overridden by a GM/Dev/Server Admin.  Is this service available for players who want to do a discarded quest that is now pretty much permanently locked out?  Or should we just suck it up and buy the item that is given for the quest reward from one of the guild stores.

Any advice on how to fix this problem is greatly welcome.
