No sir (mam?), never did I direct anything towards you personally. I was, however, basing it towards the general tone you were implying.
As to the search, I just type in \"furry\" into google. Here ist what google doth return as the top 3:

I see where you are comming from, but let me propose something. Generally speaking, it\'s always the most \'out there\', most \'attention grabbing\' sub groups that always get the most attention. Example, Car sales. An ad for a car normlly has a \'hot woman in very little clothing ontop of the hood of the car\' Why? becuase sex sells. It gets your attention. The same hold true no matter what we talk about.
It may appear at first that everyone who draws \'furry styled art\' use adult themes. But, just becuase something gets the most attention does not mean it is the majority. Another case in point: The FCC (I live in USA) about a year back put in strict in new regulation about what can, and cannot be said on the public radio. Now, leaving out all debates of whether they were right or not, they based this decision on the 12 angry letters they recieved from people who didn\'t wish to hear more adult rated shows (Howerd Stern, and others) on the radio. Howard Stern has million of listeners, but becuase of 12 people, his show was drastically cut back. I\'m not making the point whether it was right ornot, no, my point is that those that speak the loudest, make the most noise, get most of the attention.
Lets takethis idea and apply it to what you say, the art. What has more shock value: pr0n or lovey dubbey cute little kittens playing in a field while my little ponies prance around in the background?
You also have to take account what the internet is. 80% (made up number but it is quite high) of everything on the WWW is adult themed related. Theres no denying that. I\'m sure everyone has done a searh sometime and got back results they would have never thought of before. Google is a search engine, it bases it\'s search findings, by popularity (with other factors of course). It\'s not surprising to find pr0n as the number 1. This does not proove that the majority of \'furry\' is porn though. A better idea is given by doing a search for web pages, 4 pages into the search results, I still didn\'t come across any thing \'adult themed\'.
Last case in point before this turns ranty again.

I did a quick search, by selecting the recent artwork option:
http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/New/It\'s plain to see that the majority of images made, are not adult themed. People draw anthropomorphic art, for various reasons. I can\'t even draw a stick figure right so how they do what they can do is beyond me. I was told by a close friend once why she uses animals in her artwork. It is becuase she can more easily show emotion in her characters, and the on looker will understand the emotions she is trying to show much easier as well.
