You can win duels using energy arrow pretty easily, but that\'s about it. Spells are pretty much just light shows you can use to grab the attention of new players.
Uh huh, and spells can also be worked into roleplay.
Example: Zorbels is hit by Talad with a lighting bolt (start freeze spell) Or Zorbels mutters a couple of magical words under her breath to put a sleep spell on Stronith (cast healing spell or which ever spell looks good at the moment) Or Zorbels goes into a deep rage (Cast Weakness spell).
So there is more to these spells than \"Light shows\" for newbies. The Fire burst spell is also pretty effective from what I have found. though it doesn\'t seem to be as strong as the energy spell it still does quite abit of damage.
