Try running Windows in safe mode and uninstalling again. If that doesn\'t work, just delete your PS directory. That\'s pretty much how the uninstaller works, anyway, and then installing the newer version shouldn\'t give too many problems, if any at all.

Done the system reboot, and planeshift has now never oficially existed in my PC. Unfortunatly, World of Worcraft didn\'t either... bad luck, m8. Anyway, I\'m downloading the lates version, but if it doesn\'t fix my prob, I guess I have no other choice than stop playing...

I have the same problem. My character\'s name is Verigo Salaman. It\'s newly created and I haven\'t even started playing yet. Thanks in adavanced, and I hope to begin playing your wonderful game soon!

Edit: Now, not only do I still have the  problem, but I also have a new one. \"EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00419B9C\". However, this only happens when I use my Dwarf (stonecutter), whos name is mentioned above.
