Experience
« on: December 31, 2002, 04:25:30 pm »
I am not sure how we will gain experience since this isnt hack and slash (thank god :) ) but i was wondering

Just like in Asherons Call are people allowed to be higher roles and \'recruit\' lower people. For example:

Voldengrath (depending on if there are levels -link if i should know that there arent levels please dont flame me- but if one has a high level and theres a newer player say level 2 and i was level 77. Could he like \"Bind\" to me so that i gain some of the Xp he earns while i provide him with buffs or items?

If this is too confusing i can reword.

well, link IS the master of horrible, flamey death....

voldengrath, have you ever played nexus tk? coz what your proposing sounds exactly like the \'mentor\' spell, where a high level char helps out a newbie, and gains karma from it.

I just dont need to get crap from some guy I dont know, I already get enough stuff here.

Nah Jessyn, is it free? I played Asherons Call for about 3 months then got bored lol and figured the 10 bux a month could go towards better things for my guitar.

unfortunately, no, that\'s why i stopped playing, but they had a neat lvl system.  once you got to lvl 99, you traded exp for health and mana, then had complicated quests for higher status, as well as the mentor spell

ah, i\'ve read a lot of the old threads, but not the ones that were chiseled into rocks  :P Of course, the way I understand it, me wont have to get to lvl 99 first, we just advance, which is better.
