Quests?
« on: March 09, 2006, 01:25:24 am »
Hello,
i have a charackter lv 10 Sword and lv 10 armor, and i am tired to hunt tremors for experience or hunt gladiators for money, its getting a little boring after a time.
Is there a good quest that i can do insted to get more or the same money or experience as i get from the trems or glads (in the same time)?

Ask around in game, not here.

There are many quests available for doing in-game :) As long as you keep in mind that talking to NPCs is best done with short and clear sentences or simple phrases, you should be fine. The dev team is going to improve NPC communication tons and tons, so just make do as best as you can in the meantime.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Here\'s an example of short and clear sentence: ^_^
I was doing a certain \"love letter quest\" a few days ago.
The npc tells me something like: \"I can\'t deliver this letter because i have to stay here. What am I to do?\"
So... /me tryes
\"I will take it\"
\"I will help you\"
\"I am at your service\"
.
.
.
After 2 hours or so...
.
.
.
\"I will help you deliver the letter\"
Of course nothing worked but i kept trying. Finaly i got it :D. The right \'sentence\' to say was \"I\".
So... my advice is to try veeeerrrry simple sentences ;)

If they asked you to begain a quest just say yes, the uslay works.
Why should I speak, if no one speaks?  Why should I approach, if no one approaches?  Why should I hear, if no one hears?

@ Eolius:

Never tried \"Give me the letter\"?

I don\'t remember that part, only that I am stuck guessing what he could write in it about himself (and there are several traps which can make him lose the topic, and you will have to spend another 50 tria to make him talk about the letter again).
