Feature Comparison

Okay, this isn\'t a suggestion, but I have no clue where to put this.

This is to help the development of PlaneShift.  Some companies do this \"feature compare\" thing, where they take all the features of the opposing products, make a list, and then compare it with the features they have.

I simply need the okay for this, and me and a few of my friends will bring you a list of features from popular games that we\'re familiar with, and give it to you guys to compare, take what you want from it, etc.

Do I have the okay?

I think that would be a useful thing.   If you can take all the \'best\' features from the games you like and explain why you like them and also do the same with the worst features.  

At the moment we have many different things planned in the long term but it would be nice to see what people find attactive about current ( or future ) games.

Sure.

First off, I\'ll simply make a comparison chart of the features that we can think of, I know we\'ll forget some, but we\'ll just stick with the approximation, and then we\'ll rate them and such.

What should I do with the document once we\'re done?

Try to use a document format that we can all read. Something like just ascii text or html   ( Not all of us use Windows so cannot read things like excel spreadsheets or word docs easily ).

When you are done you can either a) upload it somewhere and give us a link or b) mail it to me or anybody else in the team and we can can let the others know.
