So try to follow the same directions :)

Unless a coder comes and says which module/dll is responsible of handling different hair colour, it\'s also a good idea to launch the game in -console mode, so you get an output and can dive on it to search what might be missing/wrong on your files.

Make sure you\'re trying to do that using the shortcut, not the actual psclient.exe

It\'s trying to set trait 110 onto a mesh and it cannot do it.   Trait 110 is:

White hair on a StoneBreaker

My very first guess is that somehow the race is not matching up so it is failing to apply this trait somehow.

Is this the *only* one you get?  If so it seems like an isolated case and can be tracked down.

Note to self, make debug message say which mesh/race/player it was trying to attach to.

That is the only message i got for hair. No error message was near the hair message.

It reloads itself when i pass into new zones, but i feel that is to be expected.

also, is this only with my client? i just have a feeling this would be more widespread. But then again, its possible i may have messed up some updating process a while back.

But thanks for your help and let me know if i can do anything else.

You are deffinately not alone. :) I\'ve had thi problem for a while now, and a few other people around has mentioned it, though I just blamed mine on my low-grade video cards.

I ran the console, and I also get the same error messege, and only that. One. And it doesn\'t repeat when switching sectors, and it has a trait ID of 133, and a slightly different shader (Which this would probably just be because I have a different player model, Ynnwn?)

If there\'s any other information I can contribute, just tell me.

I\'m just wondering.. do i wait and see if it will be fixed? can it be fixed in some way that doesn\'t require me changing my graphics card? or am i basically stuck.

Another note.. back when all ylian had blonde hair, i could see it.

yeah, thats all i got..

Have you already tried doing a full deinstall-reinstall?
