Turning right while running
« on: March 21, 2006, 08:49:28 pm »
I cant turn to right while running.  Char just keeps running forward even i press d key. I like to use w,a,s,d keys to move and thats why this is very annoyin problem. then i changed \"the turning right key\" from d to e and it worked perfectly. so this problem is only when \"the turning right\" is set to key d.

that\'s because wads is assigned to strafe right rather then turn right. arrow keys are assigned to turn.

atleast by default.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

Hi,
when I run with autorun I can turn in both left and right direction, but while holding shift I can only turn to left. When pressing to turn to right nothing happens. I have the keys mapped as default. "a" for left and "d" for right.  I strafe with "q" and "e"
Not really a big problem but annoying.

Well, it's just the opposite for me. When I keep holding shift+w and try a to turn left, I keep moving straight on and eventually my PC starts to beep (annoying built in speaker beep). It seems fair to me that this is due to some multi-key overload in the keyboards' processor and not really a gamebug. I use shift and arrows now when I need to run short distances.
