Hello PS Community,
     I played the game today. I can\'t wait until the game is actually ready, I recently left EverQuest and I\'m excited about PS, especially because I\'m going to be one of the \"originals\", or alpha people. I\'m glad to be among the Planeshift community!

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! welcome to ps.  Hey is everquest cool? i\'ve never played it, but my friend tells me how good it is.  I can\'t pay 10/month either for one video game.

1) It\'s now 12.95 to play it per month
2) EverQuest is a good game but the GM\'s are evil bastards. Don\'t play EQ! DOWN WITH EQ! UP WITH PS!

I agree, i will never pay that much for a video game.  P2P is really just a business trick.  It psychologically sounds like less because people neither take the time to add it up nor do they understand the concept.  Some people said it would be fine if world of warcraft was $20/month.   If you pay $15 per month for 2 year plus the retail cost (assumed $50) it is the same as buying a game for $410  and playing for 2 years!  Quite a bit for a sole video game.

Yes, and I\'m sure the people running the servers for $20000 a month each don\'t mind paying out of pocket either.

There are very few videogames that can amuse me for over a year. So I will never pay monthly costs + retail costs. I\'\'ve played Anarchy Online for a while, but that game was free to download. I played for 2 months and payed not so much. I think thats fair.

(Half-life is the only game that still interests me after 4 years)

$20,000?  You know how much more money  world of Warcraft will make?  $20,000 is not much for a big company like blizzard.  At $15 dollars a month plus the initial cost they will make say over $50,000,000 (depends on how many people buy it) in the first one or two years.  


Anyway, I play HL still too.  I play DoD, what do you play?

world of warcraft does not even come out to at least next year I think....there will be better games before it  :D
