I too like twelvetable\'s idea, very clever.

And phischphood, I know 12 hours seems like a long time, but Satayne and I have 1000\'s of logged hours.  12 hours is nothing to us and seems short now.  Not that I\'m belittling your pain at the moment.

Zan also hits the nail on the head - teamwork!

So often we play games on our own, therefore we develop the mentality that we can do it alone.  This game is different.  It has been specifically designed to prevent the lone wolf mentality.  It can be done, I was a loner for my first 100 hours or so.  But it is the dev\'s mission in life it seems to force the characters to interact, to roleplay.  And if you don\'t, the game is very unforgiving.

I\'m usually playing PS.  If you need help, ask me.

I agree Zan. It is a nice way to get to know the players and get involved in roleplays. When I first started I teamed up with a wonderful group of people who taught me where to go and what to slay to earn trias and pp. The bonus to knowing this group of people was I got to know alot of the community and felt at home in no time. :D
I've been outside, it's overrated and the graphics suck!

/me can\'t understand the problem.....

When I am out and about, and I get asked where the sewers are, or \"I am new, can you help me\" (which to me is much better than \"I am new can I have....\") I usually have a set pattern.
This is how it goes.....(summarised version)..

Follow me ....
this is harnquist .... he sells and trains etc etc .... here are 2 swords i just bought  off him as a welcome present ... blah blah blah...
this is percival...he trains blah blah blah ....
this is the sewer entrance ....
these are the rats .......
this is how to group .....
(all IC of course)

and so on ..... fun for me, fun for them, and it only cost me the price of two swords. Excellant value.

The best thing when, a couple of days later you are asked \"I have my own swords now, do you want yours back ?\" Very heartwarming Indeed.
