Bush for president of Planeshift (& SCoY)
« on: April 04, 2006, 02:11:27 am »
Following is an excerpt from this link:

http://www.newshounds.us/2004/08/29/bush_in_1998_something_is_going_to_happen.php

By TERESA HAMPTON
Editor, Capitol Hill Blue
Jul 28, 2004,

President George W. Bush is taking powerful anti-depressant drugs to control his erratic behavior, depression and paranoia, Capitol Hill Blue has learned.

The prescription drugs, administered by Col. Richard J. Tubb, the White House physician, can impair the Presidents mental faculties and decrease both his physical capabilities and his ability to respond to a crisis, administration aides admit privately.

Its a double-edged sword, says one aide. We cant have him flying off the handle at the slightest provocation but we also need a President who is alert mentally.

Tubb prescribed the anti-depressants after a clearly-upset Bush stormed off stage on July 8, refusing to answer reporters\' questions about his relationship with indicted Enron executive Kenneth J. Lay.

Keep those [bleep] away from me, he screamed at an aide backstage. If you cant, Ill find someone who can.

Bushs mental stability has become the topic of Washington whispers in recent months. Capitol Hill Blue first reported on June 4 about increasing concern among White House aides over the Presidents wide mood swings and obscene outbursts.

Although GOP loyalists dismissed the reports an anti-Bush propaganda, the reports were later confirmed by prominent George Washington University psychiatrist Dr. Justin Frank in his book Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President. Dr. Frank diagnosed the President as a paranoid meglomaniac and untreated alcoholic whose lifelong streak of sadism, ranging from childhood pranks (using firecrackers to explode frogs) to insulting journalists, gloating over state executions and pumping his hand gleefully before the bombing of Baghdad showcase Bushs instabilities.

>> Very interesting, \'course he is no stranger to drugs so his tolerance should hold.

[Note: the \"durners\" in \"motherdurners\" is the PS forums edited version for what was actually said.]

Edited for language.

Capitol Hill Blue . . .They aren\'t exactly the most reliable source of information. . .

50% liberal bias and 50% BS.

I\'d watch what I trust on the Internet if I were you.

Stars did not say \"liberals\" he said liberal bias.  By that he ment that the web site is not 100% objective.

I swear if I see one more comment from forum posters mentioning others trolling, I\'m going to get a bit angry.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Nothing is 100% objective!  He purposely chose to use the buzz word \"liberal\" to discredit the website.  I don\'t care if he added on another word to it to try to hide it or make it less transparent, it\'s a fact that he did it.

What is a liberal bias?  Someone who believes in liberal ideals?  Then everyone who isn\'t liberal (or some alternative) has a conservative-bias.  See?  So I\'m not just dismissing you as a conservative, I\'m just saying you\'re wrong because you have a conservative-bias!

Don\'t make insults.  Make arguments instead.  Address the content.

News (at least reputable news) has a responsibility to be as much so as possible, though, which is why I say again. . .get your facts from other sources than Capitol Hill Blue.

You\'re acting paranoid. And no, \"liberal\" is not a buzz word in the strict sense. If I were to use a buzz word, I\'d look at Bush and say \"neo-con.\"

Liberal is the new buzz word.  And if you want to discredit anyone, that is the word to use.  Sadly I have to agree with Zanzibar here.  Though personally, I use Conservative in an offense way, so really I dont mind you spouting off about liberals.  Either way, this thread is about bashing.. err discussing Mr. Bush\' addiction to anti depressants.

\"Liberal\" is at least as much of a buzz word as \"neo-con\" is.  \"Liberal\" is a buzz word used by people to discredit others, while \"neo-con\" is a term used to bring attention to the economic agenda and policies that a particular individual has.

Those economic policies include sending American jobs to China, giving citizen status to illegal aliens, bankrupting social security to finance tax cuts for the top 2% of the economic ladder, going to war over oil, etc etc. ;)

I don\'t consider any of those things you stated to be in line with true conservative nature.

If so many jobs weren\'t being outsourced to China, the US would probably not be losing the tech and science edge to it.

Maybe the war was indeed over oil, maybe not, who knows.  I view it as more that he\'s trying to finish the job his dad started, and he doesn\'t care who gets hurt in the process.

At 60 years old, when I get there, I\'ll no doubt want there to still be Social Security.

And as for the \"illegal alien\" question. . .Bring our troops home and put them on the Mexican border. ;)
