I dont think this has been asked before but is gambling legal in Yliakum?

I know there is a /roll command but I dont see that as gambling I see that as more of a simple game you would play with your friends but wouldnt really lose anything.

As far as I can tell, you make up your own games and use the /roll command to decide who won. If the players decide that 100000 tria are on the line, then that\'s what you would win/lose. The honour system would need to be used to make sure you get paid your winnings though.

Blackjack is easy proglin.


Dealer rolls his card first, then the next player rolls until finished etc. Once all the players have rolled, the dealer rolls his next cards. [To roll type /roll 1 13. Ace = 1, Jack = 11, Queen =12, King =13.]


I have many other games I\'ve come up with, maybe I\'ll work at your casino.  Looks like you will get to running yours before I can get enough support to run mine.

Roulette would be hard if people were not familar with the layout of the wheel.  Which numbers are black or red for example.  It would be a pain trying to remind people what is what.  Getting 00 would be almost impossible using dice.

Craps would be easy ish.

Poker is almost impossible with the dice setup adding each roll.  Poker would work if rolling the 5d13 for cards were done as individual cards (dice numbers) rather than a total.  The only way poker would work would be to roll each card one at a time, and that would take forever.  

When it comes down to it, most games including poker (using dice) it is all just roll vs roll.

FYI I\'ve done a lot of thinking on this, and was planning to run an event.  I have many other gambling games that require little to no thinking.

Five card draw probably would not work very well since everyone sees everyone else\'s rolls.  Five card stud might work, but it would require each player to roll one 13-sided die (similar to your blackjack rolls) in turn, then a round of betting.  Repeat until everyone has 4 cards \'showing\', then the fifth (final) roll would be everyone\'s \'hole card\'.  Verifying that nobody is \'cheating the pot\' with their bets would be tricky unless traded to an impartial third-party who acts as the pot.  It would be tedious working thru the bet/raise process each round tho.

You are right about the dealer hit on 16.  There were somethings I needed to check about pushes (ties) on 16.  The casinos hit.  I won\'t.  Osmo house rule

I\'ve made a shortcut for the rules stating that.

Poker would be very hard to do like you said.  War is quick and easy.  I don\'t remember if we played a game of chairs.  Which I find to be more fun that blackjack.
