Dutch roleplaying site
« on: April 09, 2006, 04:10:38 pm »
We are trying to start a forum for Dutch people interested in roleplaying. I would like to inform the dutch speaking people here about that and I think this sub-forum is right for this message. If not, feel free to remove it, because I don\'t like spammers either.

Did you notice that most Dutch forums for roleplaying are usually focussed on a specific audiance or a specific location? We would like to change that!

With we, we mean Realm of Twilights. Twilights is a community that has been recently started. Our goal is to offer roleplayers a place where they can find (Dutch) equals, find a group to play or where they can get acquinted with other roleplaying games they don\'t know.

The goals we mention above are for our forums. We also have long-term goals for of course we want to achieve more then that! To offer more we naturally need more members! Some of these long-term goals are: setting up a few groups that play at regular times. We also dream of a network of Game Masters that can be used by Flemish (and Dutch) players. And something we hope to do, that that certainly won\'t be for the next 5 years, is offering our members LARP!

Enough about our goals and on to the reason why we\'ve posted this here! Firstly because we could introduce ourselves. Secondly because we wanted to inform you about our forums and website. And last but not least: we\'re searching for (Dutch) people that want to help us with getting our forum alive! At this moment our forum is a newborn and with members a forum has no use!

So check out our forums, they\'re located at: http://boards.twilights.be The main website (http://www.twilights.be) isn\'t completely finished yet. This is mainly due to the studies of our scripters. Don\'t register on the site but on the boards! Soon the users of the boards will be integrated into the main site.

It would help us if you\'ld spread the word for us to the people you know! You can find a mail for this effect on our forums.

Thanks in advance and maybe I\'ll see you on the forums!

Het is moeilijk zomaar een community op te zetten, dus je zult veel reclame moeten maken op internet. Veel succes!

Translation:
It\'s hard to set up a community, so you\'ll have to \"advertise\" a lot on the internet. Good luck!

Ja nu is het Nederlands helemaal naar de botten, Drey kan het zelfs al praten.

En Dutchy Drey klinkt beter dan Drey the Dutchman.

Translation:

Ok, now the Dutch language is completely ruined, even Drey can speak it.

And Dutchy Drey sounds much better than Drey the Dutchman.

Peacer....You want to know what you said? You said that you want to use your mouth on a guy\'s....do I really need to fill in?

But, so we\'ll agree on Dutchy Drey? Or maybe Double Dutch Drey?
