got rid of the "server drop"
« on: January 07, 2003, 11:22:24 am »
Ok, this is my first post and it is again about the \"Server dropped us for unknown reason\" error BUT it\'s to say that it dont do it anymore (today at least). I got this error yesterday and was really pissed off but i removed the program, re-installed it, changed the timeout in the psclient.CFG (doubled) and managed to create a character and to \"play\" the game. I dont know if it was simply because the server was down but at least i could see what it looks like  :D

I run on :
Pentium IV 1.6 GHz
384 RD-Ram
GeForce 3
Win XP pro
WIN 98 COMPATIBILITY MODE
work fine in opengl (runs a little slow when a look at the city from distance  :( )

(and if you want to get out of the town, just go to the gate and climb on the door to the right so you can jump accross the wooden gate, nothing really interesting outside though  :P )

Well, the server was down yesterday for about 24 hours so that was probably part of the problem you were encountering.
