Actually I agree with zanzibar on this one.

Eh, he isn\'t saying that white people are being attacked at all.  He is just pointing out that it has become moraly acceptable (to an extent ) to insult whites which is not true for many of the other ethnicities.

Granted, this is true, but you can\'t really insult white people as much, there is not as many sensitive issues concerning whites as there are other groups.

Whites have had it mostly easy compared to most.



Point: Whites isn\'t really the right word for it...but I can\'t really think of a good word for it considering many whites are part of other, less fortunate, groups.

He isn\'t living in a fantasy world, he is just taking certain things about being white for granted.

It isn\'t morally acceptable to insult whites any more than minorities.

In the media, black people who break the law get much more attention than white people.

Meanwhile, in film a common joke is black people making fun of white people for not being able to dance, relax, play basketball, etc.

Which is worse?  In the latter, who\'s really being \"attacked\"?


Can you show me a case of \"white people being attacked\" which is of substance and also \'morally acceptable\' in the way you\'re thinking?

Discussions evolve, naturally, but I was trying to turn this thread into a collection of fun, unusual, and interesting links. It\'s perfectly fine to comment on them and form discussions on them, but if this turns into a thread on morality, it would be better to just create a new one.

And this is where we disagree.  Not to put down whites but more to honour those that fought to make minorities respected.

You show to me again you are living in a fantasy world.  Whites are rarely discriminated against for reason of their being white whereas racism is still very present along with sexism and many other prejudices.  It is out of respect for the minorities ongoing battle to become recognized as the equals they are that many do not insult them and insult the whites who have had it relatively easy.
