Karyu, wrong error. (RSVP)

Remember bug # 1685? at

http://planeshift3d.com/bugtracker/bug.php?op=show&bugid=1685&pos=25

I had updated, I just put down verssion 0.3.013 because that was the most recent version they had on bug fixer.
The error actually started right after I updated, so i guess that was a bit stupid on my part, but I did\'nt know what else to do.

Steps to follow:

1) Download this:
http://www.psmirror.org/psupdater/updater1111.zip

2) Extract the data (what it contains) to program files/planeshift crystal blue: It should prompt asking you if you want to overwrite files, select \"Yes\".

3) Once that is done, double click on \"updater.exe\" on your planeshift folder (aka launch the updater): It should start to update the game. Have some patience while the downloads are done.

4) Upon finishing, try launching the game. This time the game should show version .14 instead of .13

Good luck.

I can\'t access (and hence extract) folders as an administrator, just programs.
It requires admin access to put stuff in c/program files/etc...
any other solutions, or do i have to whine to my dad to actually log on as an admin?

You need to get those files extracted, yes...
hope you don\'t have much problems with it, once you talk with the system administrator.

Perhaps you could ask him more \"freedom of movements\" at least on that folder you\'ve installed the game... and let\'s hope there\'s no software firewall running that would block any traffic... if when launching, finally, the updater, servers seem unreachable, most likely you\'ll have one of those sofware firewalls turned on, and then again, help from the system administrator will be needed, as well as reading some of the stickies that are in this forums.
