I have read the manual, and im not really a noob, but i am curious about this as I have never tested it.

The manual says this: \"Each Way is allied with two other Ways, and opposes one other\" Does this mean that if I pick red way, for example, I am closed off from learning the two ways that oppose it, or does it just mean that red way spells are good against the opposing spells? I dont know why I never tested this but I dont really get on that much anymore so I thought I\'d ask.

Each Way is allied with two other Ways, and opposes one other

Currently the game mechanics allow mastering of ways without having into account that comment you remarked.

What is in the guide, is usefull, tough, when it comes to RP.
That is, certain ways explote similar mind patterns, and thus, acquiring mastership on those \"opposed\" ways, at the same level, should be a really hard task to do (since those ways would tend to interfere with eachother) at the same time,
some ways have more \"proximity\" with others, so someone being a master in one of those, should find his path easier when learning one of those \"complemental\" ways rather than the \"opposed\".

But then again, as it is right now, there\'s no influence in the game mechanics, but allows for a nice amount of possibilities regarding roleplay, of course, some more work has to be done in those settings, as for instance there\'s a typo with will/intelligence mixing that should be cleared out, and I think more explanation regarding magic is planned to be revealed one day.

I had to type this fast, but I hope you get more or less your question answered.
