yes, that is what i did. i downloaded the linux installer, ran the updater, ran the setup and tried it in various ways. other configurations, standart config, different video-drivers. what i should meantion is that i use a wildcat realizm 200 opengl-graphics card. the linux drivers are somewhat crappy (dont buy 3dlabs hw for linux!!!) and i have to some extend experienced similar problems as the wellknown ati-driver problems. i dont know if that could have to do with planeshift not running. but i would assume the enigine would spit out errors if there were problems with my opengl sys. opengl benchmarks and most native games like quake^ run fine on my system though, thats why i expected planeshift to run too. i use the latest centos with lots of modifications, but none of which should interfere with planeshift. can i get planeshift to spit out even more error messages? i will add the output of a -verbose -video=opengl minus the errors i mentioned before and you meantioned would not be fatal,
help is very much appreciated, i really want to give planeshift a try.
