Updater - downloads the same file each time
« on: April 26, 2006, 07:36:05 am »
Hi All,

I have the updater 1.1.1.1.
Each time I run it it:
Checks regestry files  - no new updates available
Checks for missing damaged files and performe the following update:
Merge  art/skins/base/client_base.zip/backdrop/credits_bg.png(ZIP)
Total size 1.12MB in 1 files

It completes this (update complete) - then if I repeat the update, or update the next day it updates and merges exactly the same file again.

Any Ideas as to why its doing this? Should I delete the file and get it to update a new one?

Suggestions?

If you haven't tried deleting it already, do it, and let the updater fetch it hopefully once and for all :)

::|  Interestingly enough, when I look for the file to delete it, the folder /backdrop within client_base.zip doesn't exist! Therefore credits_bg.png is not there!

And yet whenever I update, it loads the file and merges it. Perhaps I should delete Client_base.zip and upload a fresh version of this?

I'll try this and let you know the result - Gulp.... Here goes ...... X-/

 \\o// Yippeee it worked!!
