Moraz Calli'dri
The Blood Brotherhood

Guild History

Chapter I, the Ancients

Long ago, back when the portals began opening in Yliakum, a group of 5 Diabolis appeared through some of the portals. They were men and women of all trades;

Upon the first day, they met and discussed each profession with great passion,
Upon the second day, they began discussing their surroundings, Yliakum and the gods,
Upon the third day, they began discussing the power they had back from where they came,
Upon the fourth day, they began conspiring against other people,
Upon the fifth day, they met with a young Ynnwn named Morgurath,
Upon the sixth day, they began gathering people,
Upon the seventh day, they started manipulating the people into their beliefs,
Upon the eight day, they began training those people,
Upon the ninth day, they created the five ancient houses,
Upon the tenth day, Morgurath bound them together and made Moraz Calli’dri, meaning “Blood Brotherhood” in their language.

Not many years after the binding Morgurath disappeared mysteriously, and the Moraz Calli’dri began to dissolve.

Chapter II, Ojaveda

The Enkidukai looked one last time back at Hydlaa; he had nothing more to do here he thought to himself. It was not that long ago, he left the Dark Empire, he had agreed with himself not to bind himself to another guild for a while. No, he had agreed to go on a journey to find himself, he turned around and began walking, he glimpsed down at the map and smiled to himself it will be good to see Ojaveda again he thought.

Some hours had passed by, when he finally reached the great entrance to the Enkidukai Village. He went on in and decided to stay at the tavern for the night.
He sat down on one of the chairs with his mug of ale, he noticed an old woman in the corner who was looking at him… no, staring at him. Uncomforted by her gaze he emptied his mug and went over to her, asking her with a cold voice “what is it old woman?” She looked up at him with an empty gaze, handing him a piece of paper. He took the paper and looked it through “what is this?” he looked up, and found her to be gone without a trace. He looked at the paper again, it was a map.

Chapter III, the tomb

The next morning he decided to look for the location marked on the map, led by a strange urge to go to the place marked on the map, he bought some food and set out. He walked for hours not recognising anything on the map; it was not until nightfall when he reached a stone formation which looked a lot like the one on the map. He decided to make camp and stay there over night; he prepared the tent and meal and then headed straight to bed.

He woke up in the middle of the night; a strange sound was carried along in the air, almost like music.
He found that the source of this “music” was a cave, well hidden away from the main road.
He went inside and noticed that the further in he came, the more human made it looked. The music became stronger and stronger, and he ended up in a small corridor with a stone door at the end, he opened the door and entered a small round room with a sarcophagus in the middle, a heavy book resting on top of it.

A few letters were engraved on the side of the grave in a foreign language, “Horata leikar Mezhun Morgurath”. He looked at the book on top and opened it, he read a few words out loud and felt a strange feeling in his chest, he became dizzy and not long after everything went black.

When he woke up again, he was in a dark place, surrounded by stone. He noticed that the stone over his head was removable, and that he was able to push it aside easily, he placed his hand in front of his eyes, annoyed by the sharp light. When he had finally gotten used to the light, he noticed something strange he could not feel his tale, he looked at his hands and stopped breathing for a few seconds, his fur was replaced by a red skin which covered his whole body.

He crawled out of the sarcophagus, and looked down in fear to see his own lifeless body lying on the ground.

Chapter IV, the Reincarnation

“I believe it is frightening” Jazeera looked obviously shocked behind him to see the old woman from the tavern standing in the entrance to the room. “Who…. are you?” he muttered, she laughed and then simply answered “that is not important, you are though” he raised an eyebrow not understanding “you are the incarnation of the old Mezhun, Morgurath” he could not believe what she was saying, but somehow he knew she was right, he felt thoughts and memories which weren’t his own floating in his head.

“How do you know all this?” he asked, she lifted her hand and pointed with a long thin finger at the book behind him. The Terra’zhul he thought not knowing why he knew this, “it contains all you need to know, now go and do what must be done” with this said she disappeared into the thin air.

Guild Leadership

The guild is led by the Mezhun, who will serve for his whole life or until he chooses to resign.
All major action in the guild is decided by the Mezhun and his elder council (consisting of Dark Hands) by voting, if the voting ends in a tie, then the Mezhun will have the final saying.

The Associates are led by the Magisters, who will supervise their trial, as well as help them if they need it. The Magisters will also act as recruiters, as well as teachers.

Guild Structure

The Guild is made up of six houses, which all are led by a Dark hand, all except House Hlaaron which is led by the Mezhun:

House Hlaaron,
The newest house founded by Jazeera Hlaaron, fulfilling the last of the forgotten prophecy.
It is the Master house; this house is led directly by the Mezhun, and it contains him and his personal guard, the Mezmerati.
The purpose of the house is to supervise the other houses, and maintain the guild generally speaking.

House, Dra’len,
One of the Ancient houses, it is named after the Ancient Morutha Dra’len; he was the original founder of the house.
It is the house of warriors, they are the backbone of the Brotherhood army, and consist of two departments, the defensive and the offensive.

House Mircar,
One of the Ancient houses, it is named after the Ancient Malicia Mircar; she was the original founder of the house. The members of this House are Mages; they are trained in all kind of different magic’s.

House Doco’bar,
One of the Ancient houses, it is named after the Ancient Jourel Doco’bar he was the original founder of the house.
The members of this House are crafters; including miners, blacksmiths, alchemists, animal trainers and so on.

House Zethir,
One of the Ancient houses, it is named after the Ancient Vallenvar Zethir; he was the original founder of the house.
The members of this house are Archers and scouts; they are the eyes and ears of the guild

House Xyc’cihr,

One of the Ancient houses, it is named after the Ancient Ouven Xyc’cihr; he was the original founder of the house.
The members of this house are Thieves and assassins; they are the silent killers and avengers of the guild.

Ranks of the Moraz Calli’dri

New members Ranks

I. Associate
Persons seeking membership within the guild will be given this rank. They will be seen as outsiders to the guild, regarding guild classified information, although they are allowed to participate in guild events.

II. House Apprentice
Persons who have completed the Trials of blood will be given this rank; they have just begun their journey down the path of their profession and career within the Brotherhood.

Standard members Ranks

III. House Journeyman
These are the basic members of the guild, they have been in the guild for at least 1 month, and are well know with the guild structure as well as their own profession.

IV. House Kinsman
The house kinsman has been in the guild for at least 6 months, they are experts in their profession but they still do have much to learn.

V. House Master
The house master has been in the guild for at least 1 year, they are very passionate about their profession and are very well trained in it.

Higher members Ranks

VI. Magister
Also know together as the lesser council, they are responsible for the associates and recruiting. They help newcomers (associates, house apprentices) by acting as teachers, to better understand the game, Role-Playing, as well as how the guild works.

VII. Mezmerati
The personal guard of the Mezhun, they are responsible for his well being, as well as assisting him in carrying out special assignments, they are his eyes and ears. They are led by a captain who probably is the Mezhun most trusts man.

VIII. Dark Hand
A Dark hand is a leader of one of the great houses; they are part of the elder council, and are second only to the Mezhun. They will lead the guild, in times when the Mezhun is unable to lead the guild (he’s on vacation, or inactive for a longer period of time).

IX. Mezhun
The Mezhun is the leader of the guild, and so he is responsible for the guild and its members. He is dedicated to it, and will settle all disputes if no one else can find a solution.

Trials of Blood

When a person becomes an Associate he/she will have to stay at that rank for 1-2 weeks, to make sure he/she wants to be in the guild, and the guild can make sure if it wants the person as a member.

If they get past those weeks, they will be given the trials of Blood by the Mezhun and/or a Dark hand. The exact details of the trial are not to be published to those outside the guild.

Alignment

Evil (I do not know which one of the three we are qualified as, if someone got a good argument for which one we are, I might consider classifying us as that)

Rules

Guild Rules

I. Do not share guild exclusive material (writings of the Terra’zuhl, the prophecy, content of meetings, ceremonies, trials of blood etc.)

II. Do not betray fellow guild members, we are a Brotherhood, and we expect all members to treat other members as family.

III. Respect the writings of the Ancients; they are the fundament of the guild (writings of the Terra’zuhl, the prophecy, content of meetings, ceremonies, trials of blood etc.)

IV. Only rank 5 - 9 people are allowed to read the Terra’zuhl and the prophecies.

V. Respect our allies

VI. Obey your leaders, and respect their decisions

VII. Respect the rules of Planeshift

VIII. ANY member who breaks any guild rules will be expelled.

Rules of behaviour

I. Do not act like an idiot just because you are evil, there is a fine line between these two.

II. Do not to use net-slang or leet talk as it makes you look stupid and/or lazy (u, 1337, roXXor, omg, lol etc.)

III. All offensive and vulgar language will be reported to the leaders of the guild.

IV. Try to uphold the Role-Playing rules in game (not talk out of character without [frames] on the say channel), we do accept out of character talk on the guild and tell channel between members.

V. Respect other players, and if they think you are going too far in Role-Playing, then stop or go a little easier.

VI. Separate Role-Playing and real life issues, just because you character hates another, it doesn’t give you the right to hate the actual person.

And remember, being a member you represent our guild.

Goals

Become stronger in our chosen profession, by any means necessary.

Follow and uphold the Prophecy.

Wow, very well thought out, I want to join... Um except I'm at the head of a good Dwarven guild.

There are very few guilds that have that good of a history I hope it all goes well.

Haven't been able to reply to this thread, since I have been busy with other stuff...

anyway, just wanted to say thanks to all for the kind comments,

I sure hope there are some guilds with better story than ours, as this was rather rushed through story (took me 1-2 hours).

Now for a quick update on the guild.

we expect to be ingame soon (at the start of this week specifically, that would be week 18), at that point we will publish a list of members of course.

The website will also be underways soon, as well as our future forums.

"Well done, very interesting structure, hope the good guys won't take advantage of the youth of the guild " thinks Setill
The evil is like an iceberg.
The Dark Empire is the little floating part you can see, but below this, there is a huge part...

Okay the guild is moving towards the next step, with quite a few new updates, but first:

A special recruitment offer from the Moraz Calli’dri.

Even with the 3-4 members we have, we still need a few members in the council. What we are looking for are 2-3 persons, which have at least one of the following professions:

Warrior/fighter

Magician/sorcerer/wizard/mage

Thief/robber/ Assassin

Archer/scout

Merchant, Trader, Crafter

Of course you will need to fulfill the following requirements, as well:

1.   Have a fresh mind, come with ideas, and critic on the guild

2.   Be active, both in game as well as on the forums (Planeshift forum, and our own)

3.   Be experienced with Role-Playing, or be willing to learn how to Role-Play

4.   Be responsible for the things you do in the guild, good or bad

5.   Have interest in the game, be willing to stick with it for at least a half year

6.   Fill out the application form on our website, in the join section

To be more specific: that who take this offer, and passes the requirements, will have the chance of becoming a Dark hand of one of our houses, and council member of the guild.

--------------------------------------------------
Now on to the Updates:

As most of you have spotted in the first part of this post, we now have a website (www.freewebs.com/morazcallidri), I will consider getting another domain and a host that I will pay for, once I am certain that this guild is going to survive for at least one year.

We also have a new forum that you can find through our website, or just follow this link: http://www.phpbbplanet.com/forum/index.php?mforum=morazcallidri

Sadly one of our members chose to quit the guild, as he had quite a lot of things going on in real life, so we are one person away from becoming a guild in game.
